  1. Ugly overkill that won't help if it's actually the clearance lights that are leaking.
  2. How 'temporary'? I've seen people cover the whole front windows with Eternabond tape. As mentioned above, many a clearance light leak has been blamed on the windows.
  3. I came across these and thought others might find them interesting and a useful reference. Find a part number and Google it to find where to buy it and prices. https://www.canadarv.com/images/catalogs/RV19.pdf http://www.rvretailcatalog.com/ I'm sure there are others. If you know a good one, post it here.
  4. Even if not doing the work yourself, knowledge is power. Watch the videos to give an idea what your mechanic is talking about. You might not be sure if he's talking Cantonese or Mandarin, but better than nothing.
  5. Not a Nissan Z24, but not totally different, to give you an idea of what's involved.
  6. Assuming the 'massive white smoke' is out the exhaust, it sounds like a blown head gasket and the coolant is being burned. Compression test. Leak-down test. I don't know if there any repair manuals (Chilton/Haynes/FSM) in Pdf for the Nissan Z24 online. I have hard copies of the Chilton manuals.
  7. Certainly not near me. In the Rust-belt' they were all crushed years ago. Where are you located?
  8. De nada. Espero que Google haya hecho una traducción razonable para mí, ya que no hablo español. Viajes seguros.
  9. Zuk Mod would be my near-zero budget solution. Or snag another set of Toyota pickup leaf springs and combine them with your current springs.
  10. Hi. If I understand from Google Translate, you find the size of the fresh water tank in your 1990 Dolphin 900 too small. You are only able to take one shower or wash dishes for a couple of days before you run out of water. You're asking what others do so you can go longer before visiting a camp ground? Hola.
  11. This is how Google understands the question:-
  12. Ventless will certainly have the potential for CO and humidity problem. But, unlike a ventless space heater, a water heater will only be running for short periods so probably not an issue any more than slow cooking a pot of stew on your propane stove. How cool do you like your showers? These only offer a certain temperature rise. The Excell mentions 45F so water in your tank @ 65F will give you a 110F shower. Not bad. But if your water tank is @ 35F? An 80F shower is getting a bit cool by my standards. A 'tanked' water heater has a thermostat and should give you a shower at your preferred temperature no mater your water tank temperature. Only it's recovery time will change.

  14. You might want to test the existing/old axles for (invisible) stress cracks. I've seen many people saying they're OK because their mechanic says the bearing are OK. But what about the axles themselves? It's the axle that snaps and loses you a wheel, not the bearing. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/articles/testing-cracks-home-diy-dye-penetrants/?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Project+Fox%3A+Low-Buck+DIY+Paintjob&utm_campaign=GRM+Daily+Newsletter+Automation+Email Fit a single wheel to a compromised axle can still lose a wheel.
  15. My opinion:- Coilovers will add about 750lb of 'help'. Not really enough to make much of a difference if your rear end is sagging. Better with KYB shock plus air springs (which offer up to 5000lb of lift).
  16. Nope, no me. I don't know if a call to these people might help:- https://uacparts.com/Home/About
