  1. Exactly. I don't see it finding it's way to the UPPER plate. And my boat always floats. I'm somewhat puzzled by the airplane analogy.
  2. Worth a try, I guess, but if the slime will seal a leak at the upper plate seems to defy the Laws of Gravity.
  3. Is it just my sleepy eyes, or are those 2x6s above and below the front windows?
  4. I'm pretty sure you've got to go back to Chinooks of the '70s to find 3.90:1. Most others were 4.10:1, some in the '90s were 4.30:1.
  5. I think your O-rings are probably Buna-N. Not sure about bra elastic.
  6. I believe that's the Factory location for the extinguisher in (at least the'90s) Dolphins and Winnebagos. No telling where owners might have added another.
  7. Due to insufficient caffeine intake before posting, I failed to notice that way up in the title, we're talking about a 4 speed (manual, I assume). I don't know what transmission 'slippage' ratios the calculators use. Or if there's one that uses an accurate figure for Toyota Motorhomes. https://www.ringpinion.com/calculators/Calc_RPM.aspx http://www.crawlpedia.com/rpm_gear_calculator.htm They're close enough for my simple needs. EDIT:- All kind of academic, since I don't suppose there's anyone who has tried to do 90mph in 3rd.
  8. It's too early to research further or re-do the math, but I came across this on the 'net (FWIW):- " Dept. Of Health recommendation is to ' shock' to a concentration of 100 ppm for 1 hr, or 50ppm for 4hrs to achieve total sanitation. Look at the bleach you are using and do the math." " When I researched this several years ago this is what I came up with:- Sanitize with 6.7ml 6% bleach per GALLON. This equates to 0.42 cups 6% bleach per 15 GALLONS for comparison. Minimum 4hr contact time, 24h frequently recommended. Drinking water 0.4ml per GALLON (6ml for 15 GALLONS). Not to say the 1/4 cup per 15 gallons is incorrect... either solution will create a strong enough mix for disinfection. Personally, I have switched to a 48% available chlorine product (calcium hypochlorite) and use extremely small amounts. 12.5ml per 15 GALLONS for sanitizing, and 0.75ml per 15 GALLONS for drinking water. "
  9. I didn't realize bras incorporated O-rings. Must be a new development. Must investigate.
  10. I can't image what difference would be between the 2 options. I assume it's just a question that appears on a computer screen (as it is on car-part.com) that they blindly ask without knowing why. Call back and say you want one of each and see what they say!
  11. Sleeping:- 80w each Seated quietly:- 120w. http://www.wiley.com/legacy/wileychi/al_shemmeri/supp/powerpoints/chapter_5.pdf
  12. Just about everyone seems very happy with the original spec plugs. In fact I've heard a few who experienced problems by 'upgrading' to platinum or iridium plugs. Nippon Denso:- K15R-U NGK:- BKR5EYA Gap:- 0.031" Prices from the dealer seem quite reasonable.
  13. You have a 3VZ-E (2958 cc) engine. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_VZ_engine#3VZ-E
  14. I've heard of the 'Sorry, nothing older than 10 year' Resorts. Somehow, I doubt even the greatest restoration/update would fool them. Where I am, your age on the registration is based ONLY on the Toyota VIN. Nothing else.
  15. " Monterey Leisure, in Elkhart, IN, built Sunrader motorhomes from about 1982 until August of 1988. They also built the stick-built Rader motorhomes as well as a few Sunrader branded trailers at that facility. " http://www.nadaguides.com/RVs/1983/Sunrader/Rader-220RD-TD/3029992 But still not with an East-West V6 with MacPherson struts! Maybe it's an experimental prototype?
  16. Without actually being there to see what you have, I believe the 'safe/correct' way to fix what you've got is to find someone competent to cut off and relocate the spring perches on your new axle.
  17. The not so subtle difference between a Rader and Sunrader.
  18. The NHTSA made recommendations for those 'forced' to drive with 'foolies'. Page 42. National Axle Recall RC-91V060-NN.PDF
  19. " Discontinued Part" http://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~disc~front~43512-35160.html Maybe why the Dealer couldn't find it? Interchanges:- http://www.yoyopart.com/oem/7000046/toyota-4351235160.html#interchange
