BACK IN THE DAY those external regulators were mechcanical and later solid state Bos ch made good non solid state type. ihave had brand new solid state that were no good and they are more easly damaged tTHE curict for charging TWO batterys is Different with a external reg you should go too a Auto ELETRIC shop BY 1983 they may have only used solid state did you by that used i under stand cost issues But tested still doesent mean its right sory.

THE org big s qure lights often had only a 35 watt low and a45 to 50 watt high beem. I use the upgrad 55 watt low beam and 65 watt high beam. and HALGON ONLY. AND yes make the aim right . THE bleed valve is down on the slave cylinder on the trans mission. if you have too people one too push the pedel one undertoo bleed down through the slave. IT can be done by one person by gravity bleeding the slave then hand pump clutch pedal check fluid leval freq. until you get a hard pedal.

A great hellow too you guys MY other big hobby and sell some too .I own and collect Colmans Have about 45 old pump lanterns and a number of 1 to 3 burner stoves. The pump models burn much hotter and brighter then propane. Ihave propane also bought a tee and hose can run 2 burner stove off of moterhome tank or carry bulk tank when using propane. Inever leave fuel in my colman fuel gear. have one Nikel brass colman Lantern 1948 workes good as new. a Lantern all night in the woods can Help KEEP the wrong PEOPLE AWAY.

There was a type of insultion i used several years ago .as a repair s kin on the bottom of my doble wide . I cant rember what it was called. it was like silver in clor and basicly several layers of Bubble wrap. Came in a large roll.Light and about a forth inch thick. Dont know if that could work or not.

AS for myself i Hate those blinding blue lights . Icant figer out why they allow those. they willprobly allow them until somebody is sued.

I have n o sunrader exp but personaly i prefure too install the metal frame type square vents they dont leak from hiden base cracks. and the base does not get brittle . could not get my leack stoped. new metal frame vent sealed it and no more problems.

lAW enforcement wants too be able too read that vin through the window in a wreck that can be important we have people here that switch plates and auto theft is high. they dont look under your hood parked . and no the old cars did not have dash vin plates.

do not have the dolphin at the house but my 1988 4wd xtra cab 22re trans type w56 5 speed has the metal vin plate on the firewall. and The dash vin on the dash. I also havea wash state sticker That states my truck is a salvege vecle as it was stolon in its past life. and bought by my dealer as an inserance recovery salvege truck the Dealer told ME right up front. as the truck was never wrecked i did not care. it has served me well for ten years. HE specialed in used toyota 4wd. IT also states that REMOVING THE SALVAGE STICKER IS A CLASS C FLEN EY. THE TITLE IS ALSO BRANDED SALVEG BUT DOES NOT MATTER TO ME.

MY personal opinon is there is no such thing as an all season tire that is a three season tire. a wint er traction tire is a winter traction tire .in wa state on a mountain pass we have at least six if they post traction tires requred and they do all the time they mean it. you will get a tiket. also if the chains required sighn is up you better have them on. four wd is exmpt but you are requer d to be in 4 wd setting.
