I have an '89 Toyota that started life as a Uhaul, like this: dsc00667.jpg (JPEG Image, 640x480 pixels) Now its time for new tires. 185r14C are on the truck. It makes sense to move up to D rating tires. What is the newer tire size conversion? What tire size/brand would work for me? Thanks! Tom

Hi Two Blocked, Are you a crane operator? Two-Blocked has been used in crane applications, that's why i ask. Thanks for the info. It makes the Chinook a bit more interesting. I'm able to do mechanical work. I would take it to a shop for flush and fill of course. Tom

There is a Chinook for sale that doesn't have cab AC. I'm sure there are after-market units...any input? Cost? Ease of installation? Scavenging salvage yards for the compressor, etc. along with the rest of the plumbing is an option too. Has anyone added AC to a non-AC truck? Thanks, Tom
