  1. The 17 gallon tank is 33 inches long but that includes the lip and that is up a ways so you probably didn't include it in the measurement. You got the right one, I'm sure Linda S
  2. If you end up needing to replace the fuel filler neck this is the place to go. More little trucks than just about anywhere and in San Diego http://www.calminitruck.com/ Linda S
  3. Shower and kitchen sink might have separate roof vents. Mine do. Get on roof and look at placement compared to location of shower and sink. Linda S
  4. Try this place Capitol Import Auto Dismantling (916) 366-7470 4071 Happy Ln,Sacramento,CA95827 Wheel Stock number CI0729 This is supposedly for an 88 but they say it has 6 hand holds so really an 86. Might be an old listing but can't hurt to call. If they don't have it I'm pretty sure I can find some 3 hand holes near me in San Jose You do realize you can drive a pretty long way with only one tire in the back when you get a flat. I've never worried about a spare for the duallies. Always carry a 12 volt air compressor and if I get a flat, inflate remaining good tire to max and drive slowly to nearest place to have fixed. I have had 2 flats in 10 years and never because of the tire. Sunrader had rubber valves on the tires instead of metal and the valves failed each time. Metal is a must for a tire with a max pressure of 65 lbs Linda S
  5. Tell me what one you want the 86 only or the other ones and I will find one for you. Do you only need one? Linda S
  6. So the trick on an 86 is you can change to the different wheels if you can find cone shaped nuts with left hand thread or you are willing to put in new right hand thread lug bolts on the drivers side Linda S
  7. So how much does it cost to take the ferry to Seattle. I still think that's your best bet.No duty fees cause no way they are going to know got tires in the states. Just throw some mud on them. Linda
  8. According to the 1986 toyota truck brochure they didn't offer a 14.5 gallon tank in 1986. Only 13.7 on the bitty trucks, 19.3 on some of the 4x4's and 17.2 on the rest. Unless it's been switched it has to be one of those. Linda S
  9. But for a 1986 Sunrader. The 3 or 6 hand holes tell if it's got the 86 wheels. They are all 6 lug, at least the good ones, but there are some differences in the holes the lugs go through and even though I've never had to try a 3 hand hole wheel on mine some on the toyota camper site have and they did not fit properly. Linda S
  10. If yours originally had fake dually 5 lug rear wheels no it wouldn't have had left hand thread. do your rear wheels have 3 hand holes or 6. Ones with 6 would have left hand thread. If it's 3 it's an 87 or newer axle and was upgraded. Linda S
  11. OK I got that backward. Haven't had a wheel off in quite a while. Mine does not have the cone shaped nut and it has a washer attached to it. According to the toyota-camper group on yahoo the wheels from 86 to are not inter-changable with the newer ones. Linda S
  12. The 86 is the odd ball for wheels. They use a cone shaped nut to center the lug and they have left hand threads on the drivers side. I would search www.car-part.com for wheels and call and ask if they have 6 hand holes. 86 is also the only year with 6 hole wheels. newer have 3. Linda S
  13. All the 820 tires are SV820's from Nexen with a different name. Nexen's are made in Korea. The Thunderer's are a different tire and are made in Thailand Linda S
  14. You are welcome. I will be praying this all works out the best for you. Linda S
  15. Not really. Need to know the year. Pre 1986 they were extended by the manufacturer and they are all over the place. Different models and years had different wheelbases. From 1986 on the 21 footers were all 137 inch wheel bases. Linda S
  16. Generators were always an option, not standard. The brochure states that it would have been a 2500wt gen set so that would have made it a Kohler generator and they are no longer made. An Onan Microlite 2800 or 2500 camp power should fit in the space if it has alreay been prepared for a gen set. Generator prep set up was also an option. There might be some manuals on the toyota-camper site on yahoo in the files section but you can look at the brochures on Winnebago's site http://www.winnebagoind.com/products/previous-models/1990/pdfs/winnebago/90-Warrior-bro.pdf Linda S
  17. I don't think the cab on the 84 is that much different from the 82. Just a touch bigger. You could probably trim it down to fit. Of course not absolutely sure Linda S
  18. The Toyota cab and chassis that your motorhomes are built on only came with a 17.2 gallon tank from Toyota. It was the only option. The Winnebago brochure also states the gas tank is 17.2 gallons and just checked so does the 93 Dolphin brochure. The Winnebago brochures are available onlne, just google it, and the Dolphin ones are in the toyota-camper site files If your tank is smaller someone just wanted to save some money buy replacing it with the cheapest available Linda S
  19. Try one of these. Available at home depot and many other hardware stores. Do it with the u section off so you can see if anything comes out of the sink and then you can get farther into the drain to tank section. Plastic so it won;t hurt your plastic pipes. I always keep them handy. Of course I have to ask.Is your waste tank empty. If it's full the water has no where else to go. Another possible problem is the waste vent on the roof is clogged. Look for pipe on roof above the sink location On a sealed water system for water to get out air must come in. Is the cap on up there. If not stuff could fall into it and clog the system. http://www.amazon.com/Cobra-Products-00412BL-Zip-It-Cleaning/dp/B000BO9204 Linda S
  20. The specs are correct for a d load range tire. The C in your size just denotes commercial. As to the quality they are knid of too new a company to know for sure, only 6 years old. That said since they are sold by Les Schwab who offers a very high warranty on their tires I would assume a company that big would test their construction before they started selling them. Of course I can't be sure of that but I think your fine. Linda S
  21. The one listed in chicago is an 83. Did it even have the right axle? I'm betting not if it was in such bad condition. yes there are a lot of messed up ones out there. Not much different than looking at cars 20 plus years old. Took me 2 years to find my Sunrader and there was still a ton wrong with it. Back then I didnt even know what I was checking for. Keep reading the site and learn as much as you can. that is your best insurance against owning a lemon Linda S
  22. Yes fridge plug is outside. Find the fridge vents and open the bottom panel. You should be able to see an electrical outlet that looks just like home and the fridge should be plugged into it.The power panel is where your fuses are for your coach. . Inside on the wall or beneath the sofa but with clear access a metal panel that you can open. Inside are your 12 volt fuses and circuit breakers for your AC and fridge when it's on 110. They are for your inside 110 outlets too. Look around. Like your breaker panel on the outside of your house or if you live up north in the basement. Linda S
  23. If your rig has lasted all that time with your little axle I don't think a full floater is absolutely needed. The axles from the v6 toyota trucks are 8 inch and the differential is little heavier duty and the 2wd models should have 5 lugs like yours. I'm pretty sure your wheels should fit right on. So that would be 89 to 93 pick up. 4x4 and 4runner will have 6 lugs so stick with the pick up only. Tons of them in junk yards everywhere. Linda S This axle should be 3 1/2 inches wider than yours. perfect
  24. Should be a plug there in the back that the fridge is plugged into. Check and see if it has power. Unplug the fridge and plug in a hair dryer or fan or light of some kind. That will tell you if it's getting power or not. If it is I have no clue but if not check your circuit breakers on your power panel. Might have tripped or might be bad and need to be replaced. Linda S
