  1. And your local tire guy gave you a good price. Most places can find them if you know the exact model cause those models usually don't come in more normal sizes Linda S
  2. Well it's an 83 or older and that front overhead looks to be seriously drooping in the middle. Siding all rumpled. Lots of work needed I think. Linda S
  3. Glad to hear your wife is taking to the Toyota. Yeah they are very easy to drive. Fun even. I don't think I know who that Michelle is but I'm sure we'll hear about the problems she's having with her motorhome soon. Linda S
  4. For starters back up. Is this a ducted system. What brand AC unit is it and what model. Are we talking wall thermostat or inside ceiling unit thermostat. Linda S
  5. If you ask them to check for recalls there's a good chance they won't find anything. This is a special service campaign. Voluntary by Toyota, not mandatory recall by government. Linda S
  6. She's new to RV's and electric stuff. I know when I need something I really appreciate when you guys post links of what and exactly where I can get it. Linda S
  7. If that's where she still is car-part.com is showing 4 within 200 miles of her. http://www.car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi searches from them don't link to the results but easy to search again. Funny that she hasn't answered any of our posts. Getting help can't be a one stop thing. Need to share a little more Katie Linda S
  8. Goforms are $51 at Big O or Tires-easy. Tires-easy you must add shipping and that can vary widely depending on where you are and the tire you order. Very widely. Some tires to my location are only 9 bucks but others are almost 18. Times 6 or 7 tires that's a big ticket I have to include in the cost. JD, I don't see those Federal tires at any place online in this country. Can you tell us where you bought them. Never hurts to have as many options as possible Linda S
  9. So that explains why some showed up on ebay a while ago. I thought maybe someone just found some old ones in a warehouse. Linda S
  10. My rig can run at 50 in second gear. No way it could be running at over 7000rpms. Not screaming at all but getting ready to. Linda S
  11. There are thousands of members on this group and we certainly aren't all driving on flat land only. Members have gone to Alaska and South America. Yeah the 4 cylinder will make it just fine. Oh and Zack the 5 speed wasn't even on option on the dual wheel cab and chassis in 1986. Linda S
  12. That circuit breaker on the firewall is a 30 amp breaker. I have one just like it but my isolater is on the firewall next to it. Circuit breaker is attached to engine battery wires. That's the way I got it so when I changed the isolater I didn't change them. Coach battery wires won't reach to that side anyway Linda S
  13. Look inside the engine compartment directly opposite your drivers seat. That's where my isolater is mounted and yours should be the same. We could at least see if it's hooked up. Power from alternator goes through isolater and then to engine battery and coach battery. 4th pole is for the ground Linda S
  14. Yes she needs help in person. Only way to track down what was done and put it back correctly Linda S
  15. I didn't mean I didn't see anything hooked up to it. I meant according to the note nothing is hooked up to it. I do see wires there, I just don't have anyway to know what's hooked to what. Hope someone with a Sunrader who knows more about electrical than me joins in here. You might need to find someone to help you track these wires and install them correctly Linda S
  16. Yeah that looks messed up. I'm not an electrical person either but since your supposed to have several fuses I wonder why the 15 amp fuse they say it's all on doesn't keep blowing. I think just the water pump is supposed to have a 20 amp fuse. Yes your supposed to have a deep cycle battery back there for the coach but seems like nothing is hooked up to it. Look under you hood and see if you can find your isolater. Looks like this and mounted on firewall inside engine compartment. Should be wires attached to all 4 poles. Look to for anything that looks jury rigged on your engine battery. Linda S isolater http://www.carid.com/tekonsha-trailer-hitches/tekonsha-breakaway-kits-3727158.html
  17. His RV is a 2004 Wildcat 5th wheel. His Toyota is in his picture on his profile. Gone Linda S
  18. Link doesn't work for me either. Glad you found the listing Linda S
  19. I think it has to be 25 years old to import to America. Cute though Linda S
  20. Yes if his luck held he could have bought a full set of tires in LA instead of the one here and there as he traveled across the country. I had a lot of phone calls. Linda S
  21. I pulled down the original spare on a Sunrader from a guy who was near me and called for help. Late at night, no place open. We put that spare on his rig so he could get to my house to park. Tire not melted. He ended up driving all the way to LA before he bought new tires. 350 miles on that 30 year old spare. Linda S
  22. It's not what most people would think of as refrigerant. These refrigerators work with ammonia and the cooling is brought about by heating and cooling this ammonia solution. Not for the home fixer person. Rebuilt cooling units can be purchased though and replacement is not complicated. Linda S
  23. Like this? Nope link didn't go direct but the right diagram is down there somewhere 78 pickup and you can enlarge to see. Figure 42 Linda S http://www.autozone.com/autozone/repairinfo/repairguide/repairGuideContent.jsp?pageId=0900c1528004d7c3
  24. If your parked and the temps are super high I have saved my food by hanging a wet sheet over the fridge vents on the outside. Shade and cooling from evaporation worked pretty well to get the temps to food safe.
  25. Yup pretty pricey. Makes you glad you live in America except for the we can't buy this cool diesel thing here. Camper did not come on this coach I don't think. See how the rear wheels don't line up quite right to the coach. We have seen a few with the door on the wrong side though possible made for the Japanese market. Neat to see though Linda S
