  1. Am I missing something. The last link I posted showed the price as 101 dollars Canadian. Are you telling me they wanted to charge you 150 dollars shipping within Canada? It's a Canadian site. Linda S
  2. Well they aren't really reflecting the light are they. They are the cover on the tail light so it's just refracting the light coming out of them. I can't imagine him have problems with the lights he chose to tell you the truth. Or are we talking about two different things Linda S
  3. Refractors is closer to the meaning but they do call them reflectors. See on the plastic covers of your old ones there is a circular mold in the middle. It's to refract the light coming out of the bulb supposedly to make it easier to see. I don't know if they are required for LCD lights but can't hurt to check first. You know if California can make anything illegal they will. I think it's state law. All things are illegal until you have paid through the nose. Oops, through the nose is always illegal Linda S
  4. Here are the manuals. http://bryantrv.com/owners.html Your fridge is a Dometic 2401 or something close and your heater is a Hydroflame. Fridge works on propane or electric or 12 volt. Dial at the bottom is where you set it. Manual will tell you how to light it for propane. Just remember to hold the button in for the count of 20 before you let it go. Thermocouple needs to heat up a little. The heater has a thermostat on the wall. You pretty much just turn it on and set the temp like your heater at home. You do need enough battery power to get the fan up to speed or the igniter won't light. Linda S
  5. Are these guys that tested it Norcold service representatives? Kind of worry's me that they didn't test it properly. I mean they should have tested the heaters for 12 volt and 110 and circuit board. Kind of sounds like they didn't do their job and just tried to get some money out of you by doing alterations to your camper. See if you can take the fridge somewhere else for the next test. Call Norcold and tell them your not happy with the guys they sent you too. If ventilation was the problem it never would have worked right. Linda S
  6. The guys who inspected it already said your only problem was ventilation. If it doesn't work outside your camper ventilation wasn't the problem so how did you do the damage. It worked fine for 4 months. It broke. Accept no other answer. Linda S
  7. Take your fridge out and have them retest it. If it still doesn't get cold with all the ventilation of open space something is wrong with it. Just have them plug it in to 110. No colder means it don't work Linda S
  8. I love a rear dinette too but that means your children are all sitting all the way in the back behind the rear wheels. Very bumpy ride back there. Even people who don't get car sick can get queasy back there. Also far away from Mommy and Daddy for such young children. Number of people considering the kids are so little is doable but sofa behind the drivers seat and dinette on other side is a safer bet. Linda S
  9. Schedule calls for replacement at 60,000 miles but it's a non interference engine so if it breaks you will just stop. Not do major damage. You should also check with Toyota and see if the head gasket recall was ever done. Linda S Correction not a recall. Ask them about the Special Service Campaign VO6 and give them your vin
  10. Other than the required timing belt replacement every 60,000 miles the Nissan VG30 v6 engine is pretty much indestructible. No valve adjustments. Known to go over 300,000 miles pretty easy. Mine had been abandoned in a field for 2 years and not taken care of ever. I still drove it from New York to California with no problems. Found out when I got here and did the timing belt, it had never been done before, 120,000 miles and didn't break. Better mileage than the Toyota v6 too. I get 15 mpg at 70. Oh and the RV's with this nice engine have a 21 gallon gas tank. Linda S
  11. Yeah valve guide didn't slip. Shim slipped cause it wasn't installed correctly. Then valve way too tight and burnt quickly when you drove it. I'm thinking if they get in there they will hide their mistake. Linda S
  12. That # 6 is notorious for getting burned but NOT after it has just been adjusted. Unless they didn't do the job correctly Linda S
  13. 6 to 10 grand depending on who you find to do it and how much you pay for the engine Linda S
  14. Didn't it run rough right when you picked it up? They were the only ones messing with it. They need to fix it for nothin Linda S
  15. I found a Canadian online Toyota parts company. Might be good for future parts too. Here's a direct link to that part. http://www.toyotapartsdirect.ca/p/GAGE-ASSEMBLY--FUEL-SENDER-SENDER-FUEL/47912799/8332080122.html Linda S
  16. So use the part number to find it somewhere else. Worse case scenario at least you can buy it from a local Toyota dealer or try some of these places https://www.google.com/#q=toyota+part+%23+83320-80122
  17. Took a while but I'm pretty sure I found it. Other one didn't fit cause it was for SR5 models which have a different dash and connecters. This is for your Vin number. http://www.toyotapartszone.com/Page_Product/NarrowDownPart.aspx?partNumber=83320-80122&VIN=JT5VN94T1K0007747&lc=pl&sectionID=4&componentsID=84-01&pnc= Linda S
  18. I see that it says 4 runner but if you click on any part on the left it also says wt double tire incomplete chassis. Not a 4 runner. I don't know why it says that part is not correct but you could call them and ask. Try calling a local Toyota dealer and getting the correct part number. Then you could find it online for cheaper. Linda S
  19. How about this http://www.toyotapartszone.com/oem/toyota~gage~assy~fuel~sender~83320-80127.html Linda S
  20. Here's a couple of places to call. http://www.citymotorsupply.com/cms-toyota.php http://www.precisionengine.com/ First place had the better price. Lots of the places online don't even carry the 22re anymore but these listed are in Texas Linda S
  21. What? Daughter's farm. There is no way you have a daughter old enough to own her own farm. I thought you were about 35 at the most. Linda S
  22. Your tail lights are the old Bargman 1400's. Nothing made today is quite so long. Closest is the Bargman 84 series triple long but it's a recessed light and needs a hole. I have never seen the 1400's surface mounted before. If your going to paint anyway filling a few holes isn't a big deal. I'd say your light options are wide open since you've got to make some changes anyway. I'd look for surface mount and pick from there. Linda S
