  1. It sounds like a lot of work for not much energy or time savings. The water in your heater and your fresh water tank are already at ambient temperature, so your heating 70 degree water, summer, to 98 at the most. A standard 6 gallon gas water heater should be able to accomplish that in about 15 minutes. Light it when you stop and by the time camp is set up it's hot. No more holes in the fiberglass roof and less stuff to break. Simple is always better Linda S
  2. I don't know of anyone who has duplicated Dolphin graphics that has them available for sale. I'm sure you could go to a local car wrap graphic place and have them duplicated. If the graphics on yours are toast, there are about a million pics online of Dolphin motorhomes they could duplicate them from. But why make it look old. Lots of motorhome graphics on Ebay and Amazon for you to create a new look. See this one. Simple but updated. You're wiping the slate clean. Draw a brand new picture. Linda S
  3. That will work. I run 55 front and 60 back but it's a matter of ride. A little less will ride smoother, not much but a little. Linda S
  4. I totally understand not wanting to drive that far on really bad tires. My favorite tire place was Tire Merchant San Jose, CA ;ยท 899 N 13th St, San Jose, CA 95112. (408) 292-1339 ; No website, cash only but cheap and excellent fast service. You really need to bring your own tires here. They don't carry our weird size. The owner made very sure the valve stems were the right ones for my rig. The 86, 6 hand hole wheel won't take a metal valve stem. You have to use a high pressure rubber stem. Linda S
  5. I'm from San Jose. What tire shop is this. If you had ordered the excellent tires I posted I'm guessing you would have saved hundreds. I could have also recommended some excellent tire shops who have done work for me and wouldn't have cared at all that you brought your own tires. Please don't forget the left hand lugs on the drivers side rear. Linda S
  6. That Winnebago came from the factory with air bags. Winnebago apparently thought they were needed. Replacement bags only might be available for less than complete replacement. I'll look around if you're interested. Nice looking rig. Linda S
  7. Sorry the flare in the middle needs to stick out a little. The last one I posted is the right one. Like extech says it's for a 5/16 hose but only 1/16 of an inch different than the 3/8 inch hose. A clamp will hold it fine Linda S
  8. Ebay Metric M14 M14X1.5 Female to 3/8" Hose ID Barb Fitting Adapter Fuel Water L-71 | eBay Amazon Metric M14 M14X1.5 Female to 3/8" Hose ID Barb Fitting Adapter Fuel Water L-71 | eBay I would show exactly what you need at a local auto parts store. NAPA seems to be the best but others might have it. This one at NAPA is 1/16 narrower at the hose but a clamp should take care of that. M14-1.5 Fuel Line Fitting | NAPA Auto Parts (napaonline.com) Linda S Looks like a brand new pump hanger. Good choice
  9. VERY IMPORTANT. Look at your rear wheels. Are they 6 hand hole wheels. If so your rear driver side dually is left hand thread. Anyone who tries to take a tire off must be informed of this or your lug bolts are going to get snapped off. Only that wheel is different. Rear drivers side. Linda S
  10. It's very unlikely you have 15 inch tires on your Sunrader. Go read the size on your tires. I personally think the Yokohamas are over priced and over rated. A member here had a problem with almost new tires popping a few years back. Also they are a summer tire. We need all the traction we can get so an all season tire is better suited. The Thunderers are reasonable, and this company will send them to your house for free. Then you just pay for installation. Saves you a lot of money. Thunderer Ranger R101 185R14C 102/100Q D (8 Ply) AS A/S All Season Tire (prioritytire.com) Linda S Strange, the Yokohamas claim to be a D load tire but they actually aren't. On the dually wheels they max out at 1565lbs but the Thunderers max out at 1765. 200lbs less weight carrying capacity is a lot. No thank you Yokohama.
  11. Male? female? You're connecting to I think 3/8 fuel line. I see lots of possibilities but think I'm missing something. Seeing it would help Linda S
  12. Here's a thread where Waiter, a long-time former member, replaced his Dolphin window with Lexan. Good info about the seals too. Sorry the bubble would be way too hard to duplicate. Linda S
  13. Show me. Might help to hit the hardware store and buy a bunch of nuts or bolts if it screws in, different sizes and threads. Once you know that it is way easier to search. Search the size, male or female then fuel line fitting. Something will come up Linda S
  14. Peel off whatever you can and sand the surface smooth. The ABS you put over it will seal everything. Linda S Just looked at my first post about this repair method. I know I fixed my black tank the summer before. That would make it 2010. 13 years later it has never leaked.
  15. Yes it can be fixed. I've described how I fixed mine many times on this site. Search ABS slurry and go through my posts. If you need more info just ask. Linda S
  16. I think this one is closer Fuel Pump Tube- Toyota 4Runner & Pickup Truck 22RE & 3.0L 3VZE Fuel Tank to Body Fuel Line (1986-1995) 23091-35020 (yotashop.com) This sht isn't cheap. Making your own is starting to sound attractive. Linda S
  17. Since this is gas were talking about and the nut is trashed, I think your best option is to replace that section of the fuel line too. You want connections to fit tightly. Linda S
  18. Most of our rigs don't have air shocks. We have air bags besides our shocks. Early manufacturers did use air shocks at one time, but the weight of the motorhomes was just too hard on the shock mounts. In your case I think air shocks would be fine. You're just looking for truck shocks not motorhome shocks. The only ones I can find that will fit your vehicle are the Gabrial's. Amazon.com: Gabriel 49151 Hijacker : Automotive Since your new to this I do have to ask why you want air shocks. Linda S
  19. Too bad about the Tacoma. By the way we have quite a few engine upgrades here. Sunrader on a Tundra, Bajarader put his on a T100. and Mpanzar has a 3.4 engine in his Sunrader. I'm the boss here and I love a project. Kind of wondering how you're going to get that engine in that early small engine bay. Looking forward to it Linda S
  20. All sounds like you pretty much have it figured out. What I'm wondering is why you didn't just mount the camper on the Tacoma. There's a company in Reno building what amounts to a modern Sunrader and they build them on Tacoma's. No dual wheels, just a reinforced Tacoma axle. Like this Expedition Vehicle Manufacturer | Truckhouse | Sparks Linda S
  21. I must be missing something. You asked for a stock fit 3 row radiator and that is what the one I posted is. I don't know what a 3 row equivalent radiator is. The Csf one is an actual 3 row. Maybe you purchased an off brand? Csf make the best radiators you can buy. No cheapys here Linda S
  22. Hello, site here with many members all gear heads. Lots of gear heads on the Facebook Toyota campers site too. Let people know it's available and see what happens. Linda S
  23. The coach doesn't look bad. If I were you I'd refurbish it. Toyota motorhomes are going for big bucks and with a Lexus engine I would expect you to get 25,000 or more for it. Linda S
