  1. So were only talking about max 200 lbs here. They made 93 Winnies with rear dinette and seat belts for passengers. Two adults easily weigh more than 200 lbs and they would have been sitting over the frame extensions. I don't really think they would have designed it to collapse from the weight of passengers. Just go for it. The hitch option. I use my hitch with a carrier plenty. I do have a shorty but tons of people with full sized Toyota motorhomes have hitches and do fine Linda S
  2. I must be clueless cause I still don't see it. This is the only company I know of that is making Dolphin fiberglass end caps but they might be too big. I don't know if they are for a full sized RV or not. Don't have a Dolphin here to measure https://www.rvpartssierra.com/replacement-parts/bumpers-end-caps/BU494-Dolphin-by-National-1990-494?mfp=36-dolphin[Dolphin] Sorry if I misunderstood your request but your bumper looks pretty good to me. Linda S
  3. Are you serious? You have a 17 year old camper and there's one tiny piece of metal trim gone and you think it needs replacing. I'm not even sure that's what your looking for, looks great to me. Most people are looking for the end caps which always seem to come off. Your camper looks great and no one will know it's gone unless you tell them. Linda S
  4. Like everything else now a days, you Google it https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=sHSHW-ikM4SAsQXT05GwBw&q=motorhome+collapable+sink+drainer&oq=motorhome+collapable+sink+drainer&gs_l=psy-ab.3...1479.12980.0.13614.34.31.0.2.2.0.285.5436.0j30j1.31.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..1.32.5291.0..0j35i39k1j0i131k1j0i3k1j0i22i30k1j0i22i10i30k1j33i160k1j0i8i13i30k1j33i22i10i29i30k1.0.exkx7y0YLfY Linda S
  5. Good. We will love it. Linda S
  6. I remember you. You used to be 87 Escaper and you built the best bumper mount motorcycle carrier ever. You've been quiet lately, now that you have a new baby I hope you share it with us. The Odyssey of course, not real baby Linda S
  7. You bought it? It was beautiful. I was very tempted but so far away. Please tell us how that gas tank is hooked up. Is it an extra one or did they replace the original. Linda S
  8. Ya know I don't know the width but I have the same ladder in the 12.5 size and it was wide enough. Just not tall enough. Put this larger one next to my Sunrader but all folded up and it's the right height so I know it will be wide enough. I need to paint the cupolas on roof of my house and needed it for that too. If you already have that many ladders any chance you can just put a board between two of them? Linda S
  9. You need something that will store compact and serve multiple purposes to make it worthwhile. Who doesn't need a lightweight ladder that does everything. https://www.ebay.com/itm/15-5FT-Aluminum-Multi-Purpose-Ladder-Extension-Folding-Telescoping-Telescopic/153140198406?hash=item23a7ddfc06%3Am%3AmERQJoqQSGAbclnJ2EwLXdQ&var=452991820859 They come shorter and longer than this but this is the right size for us. They weigh a kick under 3500lbs but if it has duallies your still going to have to go to single wheels. Weight wasn't the issue. Offset on the bearings caused stress which then broke them. Fake duallies on a regular truck could break an axle. Linda S
  11. here are links https://akroncanton.craigslist.org/rvs/d/1986-toyota-motor-home/6681091975.html Couldn't find the tail lights Linda S
  12. I looked and there are quite a few RV parts stores near Eugene. Helps to have your rig right where the part is to figure out what will fit. I can't see your whole blade valve so I don't know what configuration it is but most are made by Valtera. You can find those on ebay or amazon. Just a matter of piecing it together so it's solid again. When I trashed my black tank I bought all my parts at an online trailer supply but I already searched them and they no longer carry the huge amount of parts anymore. Call local and ask what they have in stock. Home Depot actually isn't a bad choice if they have a size that will work. They charge way less than any RV places. This place has a large amount of RV pipe fittings https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Sewer/Valterra/D50-2935.html But maybe you should just go bigger. A larger coupler that would go over both sides of your cut. https://www.homedepot.com/p/4-in-ABS-DWV-Hub-x-Hub-Coupling-C5801HD4/100344957 You can sand the place where you filled the crack so it goes on smoothly. That is actually a small crack. Just needs to be filled with abs slurry. I did use fiberglass on mine but part of my black tank was completely missing. I had to rebuild the tank itself. Just remember measure, measure, measure. I don't but I throw away a lot of mistakes Linda S
  13. It looks like there is already a coupler on there. Measure the inside diameter of the outside tube on the left. See there seems to be a double layer of plastic. If so you might have to take all of it off to the blade valve where you see the bolts. No getting glued ABS apart. Let me know and I will find you the parts. Measure distance of tube running to the tank from blade valve too just in case. Linda S
  14. O2 sensor will throw a code. You can read the codes yourself. Lots of instructions online. At least narrow it down. O2 sensor costs hundreds of dollars less than a cat. Linda S
  15. At least 75% of all private party used car sales come with no smog. People want the cheapest price and they know a smog cert will add to that. Yes it's the law but it's also one that's completely ignored. You just have to make sure you file a release of liability form. Online one is best Linda S
  16. O2 sensors are easy peasy. Just get it fixed, and get it smogged. Not rocket science. Any service station can do it. Vanman you've been on these groups as long as me. You must have more resources than this. Besides you've had so much other work done. Finish and don't throw your investment away completely. Linda S
  17. Your entire motorhome weighs less than a Ford F250. Just ask if they can work on one of those. Why would you pay the big bucks for a dealer. There's a repair shop on Winchester called" Made in Japan" Seem to be rated pretty high and have tall shop doors. Make it clear your motorhome doesn't weigh more than a Tundra. Linda S
  18. Nice. Is that plastic lattice. Neat way to use it and still light enough to move, cool Linda S
  19. What parts. We need to know what your looking for Linda S
  20. You need to buy a new water heater. A propane heating element that is rusted that badly will probably just break off not break loose. Better to be safe than sorry. Linda S
  21. Yes control board only uses about .8 amps so that comes to just under 20amps a day. So glad I don't have an automatic one. Even though that's not a massive amount of power your using other things too when boondocking and it all adds up Linda S
  22. Hi jacker is the name of an air shock made by Gabriel. Not quite the same as an air bag suspension. Yes they still make them to fit your truck https://www.truckspring.com/products/Gabriel-Hi-Jackers-Air-Adjustable-Shock__GA49151.aspx I do believe many of the very early campers came with them If you have what looks to be air bags try to post a pic so we can see what they look like. Linda S
  23. I wasn't wrong about worth. The one on Ebay is being sold by a dealer who apparently has done no research on the subject and doesn't know what he's got. I'm amazed it didn't sell in minutes Linda S
  24. Well I just told a member here he should sell his similar model for 35 grand. These guys don't know what they have. It's not big. It's 1 foot longer than my Sunrader. What a screaming deal. Linda S
  25. How did I miss that. Too funny. Looking closer at the pics I can see it's had extensive work done on the interior probably from water damage. Astro turf on the roof is just stupid. We like to keep them dry not wet. It would all have to be removed. I also think I see some separation in the bottom of the overhead. That is a 5000 dollar camper at the most. toyotarvsforsale is not the best resource. Many of the RV's there are already sold and they just never get deleted. Search craigslist in all major metropolitan areas that are near enough, aka Grand Junction is not really near you. Ebay sometimes has some good ones and we have a classified section here too. A Sunrader in Taos NM just sold for 4 grand so they are out there. Linda S
