better check your map. 5 is a ways from santa cruz, also doesn't go to humbolt. you can take 41 at paso robles to kettlman city then up 5. still will have to go back to 1 or 101 to get to humbolt

i think the brake light switch is on the brake pedal under the dash. there you can find the factory color, but as stated it's likely a different color at the lights

shorted to ground circuit. could be a bulb not installed correctly. remove the brake light bulbs and see if it still happens. if so you'll have to look for a wire exposed to chassis

p.s. if that gauge reading is from within the last few days, i think it's not out of line. it's hot out

put the right thermostat back in. it isn't the problem, but the wrong one can cause problems. the flex fan will decrease your milage. also noisy . go back to fan clutch.

first thing about the ac is there pressure in the system. there is a pressure switch you can bypass . if the clutch now engages, thesystem is low

many things can cause no ac clutch. fuse should be in the box under the hood. haynes manuals have wiring diagrams. very common for extra connectors= for options you don't have. not all fuse holes get fuses you need to try the switches to see what they do. do you have fog lights?

loosening them wouldn't put the mount where it should have been. longer shackles is a fix that doesn't involve cutting off the badly welded mounts and repositioning them

i found on my rig the dually installer put the rear spring hanger a little too far forward reducing the ability of the spring to extend horizontally when deflecting. this caused a really harsh ride on rough surfaces. my fix was to add 2 inches to the shackles. really smoothed the ride and gave about 1 inch lift

is this lbs per tire-- like at 27 psi the load can be 4400 lbs for duals?

if your shocks are really stiff they can make the ride rougher. cheap shocks will give a softer ride, but handling will suffer. mostly your springs control how soft the ride is, but you have to have enough to hold the weight

using a test light does it light up when checking the fuses? if no the switching relay may be corroded. it is inside the converter

do the lights and stove vent fan work when not on shore power?

i had to replace the cooling unit on my dometic fridge. while in there i added a 12v heater element and wired it to a relay that connects it to the truck battery when the truck is running if i have a switch on. also someone on here shared how they added cooling fans. i did the same, and wired them to a thermal switch so they only run when it's really hot. it was 100 degrees here, 120 in the coach(forgot to open windows), but the temp in the freezer was 22, 40 in the fridge part. this is using propane. so i run it on shore power, switch to 12v when driving, and go to propane when parked.

no. the outlet is 2.25 od . thats the size for it. does your truck pipe fit into or over the inlet. that determines the inlet side clamp
