does my 84 dometic a/c have a start capacitor. if so is it reasonable to say that the cap would have degraded by now, and replacing it would make start up easier?
i have a owners manual for dolphin that has a good quality script and dolphin on the front. you could take it to a vinyl shop, have it scanned and blown up on a nice vinyl transfer. let me know if you would like to borrow it.
randy
so you need the same fitting on the other end of the hose, a tube nut that fits the hose end, and a double flair on the cut off line. take the cut off part to the store to get the right size tube nut
none of those will work. notice the hanger fitting is for a bubble flair. the ones shown are female flair.
you are correct tho that taking it to napa is the way to go
recently we've been having extreme temp swings and the recent warm up caused my front bubble window(overcab) to crack.
any one have info on a replacement? 84 dolphin
i think you are getting good info. no resistor needed tho. believe power for the front marker lights comes from the rear, so its likely at the rear lights (the prob)
a test light is all you need, pay attention to grounds
they prob not rated for wieght, and trailer tires are made to by pulled to turn as opposed to having torque applied to them. not a good thing to have them on anything but a trailer
depends on how you want to do it. if the line has a connection not to far away you could just unscrew the fittings and put in a new section.
if you need to cut some out you will need a tube cutter and a flairing tool( can be rented for free from orileys or other parts store). take some time to practice making the double flairs.
parts stores carry an assortment of lines with fittings. you will need a coupler also
flair nut wrenches will go along way to keep from rounding the fittings
i would soak it in penetrating oil then using a line(flair nut) wrench het the bigger part with a torch . a few smacks with a hammer on the big part wouldn't hurt either
