This is the hot water heater, I previously drained or shall I say has been draining itself as there is no plug. I ordered Camco heater valves and they are way big. So I’m still in the market for drain plug . Any ideas? Thank you

I have 87 Escaper and I cannot find any of this plumbing. Is it the same for most?

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all. So , today I am walking my dog and had some more gadgets for my Toyota 1987 Escaper. I enter through the cab and see that things were thrown throughout the cabin. Now I know someone was got into the my Toyota! Empty gas container was disassembled and the gas gap was taken off gas tank and placed inside. I get to the cab and find my whole steering column busted with wires cut and hanging everywhere, see photos. My question is how do I put this back together? I had just put that club on maybe 2 days ago 🙏👣

Hi, everyone and Happy Holidays😊 Okay, I was following the diagrams that Derek posted regarding fresh water tank lines. I am attempting to winterize my 1987 Escaper. I went to the water heater first, only to find that the drain had no cover, just the opening . So I gather that my water heater is drained. Next ,I went to the rear kitchen sink, bathroom and by water pump to see if I could turn off the valve to water . Of course I can’t identify a hot or cold turn off valve...? I found that poop drain, and on each side there are to push pull knobs, that do what? I could not find the fresh water tank drain plug...? I turned the Toy on after pouring 2 gallons of RV antifreeze in the water tank fill outlet and then turned on the water pump ? Nothing from any of the faucets . Obviously missing the proper connections. I’ve watched Utube videos and nothing is the same in my Toyota Escaper that matches the procedures taken !!!?.?? Frustrated and confused as I have the Manuel’s also. HELP PLEASE 🙏

Yes Linda, I did check and since I don’t have commercial plates the 100th Pct. said it was okay. I am not parking in front of any homes and not violating any other parking restrictions. So, I am good till this Thurs. 😂. As far as the tire chains I was wondering are you carrying them in case of emergency? Thank you for your response.

Hi all, Another question regarding dual tire chains, for emergency situations. I live in New York City and we have to move our Toy every 7 days on the street. We also get a fair amount of snow, as I am located right off of the Atlantic Ocean. What has been your experience and/or your recommendations. Thank you in advanced.

Hi WME the odor came as I turned the valve on outside. Don’t recall if I opened all the way, I just turned it backoff all the way.

I was told by mechanic that I need new torsion bars on my 1987 Escaper. Took care of the leaf springs, cannot find what size or where to get replacement torsion bars. Any suggestions? Thank you

Hi I have a 1987 Toyota Escaper, I went to turn the propane gas tank on and smelt gas, no leaking sounds. The tank has not been used in a while and it is registering at half full. Please advise and thank you. i hope all had a wonderful holiday 😊

My mechanic says that I don’t need air lifts on my 1987 Escaper. Just new leaf springs, tension bars and rear shocks. Do all mini motor homes have air lifts? Also I am shopping around for leaf springs, any suggestions ?
