Ricco
The pilot light ignites but once the blower starts, the burner won't ignite and the pilot light gets blown out. An RV shop diagnosed it and said that the gas valve module on the left side of the furnace needs to be replaced. Does anyone have a good module to sell me? toyohome
Do you have a part number?
linda s
Do you have a wall mounted thermostat. If not this one says it will fit. Need to scroll down a long way to see your model furance but it's there. I would still email them first and ask. Yours is a very old furnace. No other parts place has the gas valve listed that I could find http://www.gasvalves.org/gas-valves/right-valve-replaces-robertshaw-710-201-unitrol-gas-valve-7000slc I can't find any references anywhere to a left side gas valve Linda S
fred heath
Are you sure its not the control board? Gas valves don't usually go bad.
Ricco
The part is identified with the following: "ITT General Controls Catalog RV 28SB44 Serial No. 79 04 B 12V DC .06A MAX OPERATING PRESSURE 1/2 psi II 14-0" It is connected to a wall thermostat and there is a female plug connector directly below the on-off-pilot red knob control.
