SCRIPAL
There is a listing for a 14' Dolphin on Craigslist in Springfield, Missouri. I have never seen one before. The thing looks good.
zero
Neat rig. Length depends on who is measuring and where. It was called a 16 footer by Dolphin. Road tested at 15 MPG @ 55 MPH.
Derek up North
1978 no longer offered with the rear door. https://springfield.craigslist.org/rvs/5629513441.html Model 300, no length listed in brochure. 1978 Dolphin Micro Mini-1.pdf I suspect the 14' length would be just the camper, including the bunk. zero
1978 photo claiming production of 200 a month (kind of amazing if true). Where are all those Dolphins now?

Derek up North
Don't agree. Not a high enough metal content to send to the smelter. Only the landfill!
zero
Where I live, RVs cannot go to the scrapper. To much non-metal. There are a few local guys that specialize in RV disposal. They charge about $500 to take one and destroy it. One friend of mine pours gas on them and burns all wood and fiberglass after salvaging parts. Back East Don
I motion then to revise my photo and amend my comments: Without objections..... Perhaps more this?
zero
That looks a neat place to rummage around. Kind of looks like my property in NY right before I moved.

zero
North Dakota oil-drilling is how I wound up with my 1988 Toyota RV. The guy I got it from had bought it to live in at one of those oil-fracking sites in ND. Then he a drunk-driving arrest and lost his driver's license here in Michigan. Up for sale it went and that's how I got it. He told me rent was so high in that area, many people were buying cheap motorhomes to live in.
