Petemoss Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 Hello friends and neighbors. I just recently returned to Michigan after driving my new 1985 Dolphin back from Kentucky. So far so good. I hooked a new coach battery, small box on the side of the rig. It works but...every 30 seconds or so there is a tick sound followed by the lights dimming, and a few seconds later there is a "chirping" sound and the lights go to full brightness. This repeats over and over. The sound is coming from somewhere inside the electrical control panel. Any ideas? Pete Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
WME Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 Sounds like an auto reset circuit breaker tripping and resetting. The reason???? Maybe battery is hooked up backwards. Old Toys have a lot of NON standard wiring. So check the your - wire and make sure it goes to ground. If its OK then follow the rest of the wires and look for a short some where.
