zero Posted March 14, 2015 Share Posted March 14, 2015 I just came across some specs that state Sunrader offered an optional Honda water-cooled 4000 watt generator in their Toyota micro-mini in 1989. I never heard of this nor have I ever seen one in any RV in the 80s. I know Honda makes water-cooled generators now but did not know they were available back in 89. linda s Posted March 14, 2015 Share Posted March 14, 2015 One of the members of the Toyota camper group installed the water cooled Honda in his motorhome. He had to make the generator compartment bigger but he managed to get it in there. Extremely quiet compared to other generators. Never have seen one in a Sunrader before but some Sunraders had the generator compartment right behind the drivers seat. Would be much easier to run the coolant lines from there.
