douglitas Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Our 87 Seabreeze had been sitting for a few months..I had the coach batteries charging the whole time, but when I went to start he engine Tues nght for a quick trip out to the desert to watch the moonrise, the truck battery was at 5 volts! I jumped it from my other car and figured it would charge up on the trip out (20 mi)...after watching the moonrise and drinking a few beers it was time to go home...batt at 12.0...engine would not start! thankfully I remembered to bring my 20' jumper cable. We have a bank of 2 12V deep cycle batteries situated in the cupboard underneath one of the dinette seats next to the fridge, so ran the cable out the pass window and up to the battery...it started right up!
