WME Posted March 25, 2005 Share Posted March 25, 2005 On a hot day my Onan 2800 micro lite will just start my 13,500 BTU roof air. I have to turn off the A/C compressor (raise the temp on the thermostat) to run the Microwave. Most early Toys came with a Koler or Onan 3000 watt generator, the later ones have the Onan 2800 watt Micro lite. IF you change the roof air to a 7000 btu unit the 1850 generator will run it OK. A lot of folks go this route because most of the time a new A/C and 2kw generator is cheaper that a Onan RV generator. Or you can but a 3kw industrial unit for $500 and mount it on the bumper.
