Since the older I get the more my eyes go out of calibration, I'd only trust a tape measure. :)

But my gut reaction is that the thickness of the adapters will place the rims exactly where the originals were. There's no logical reason to chose to design them otherwise. YOMV

No idea who it is that you think has "no choice" (or choice about what), but it seems like there's no point in speculating about this. Hopefully someone who has the aftermarket adapters installed will be able to actually measure what exists. YOMV! :)

reading comprehension is a skill whereby one reads ALL posts in a thread and takes them into account. One of the posts mentioned that the guys stated that we had no choice; and had to buy thier adapters in pairs wouldnt give specs etc. By the way they said the same stuff to me when I called. "No choice"
