Right turn signal position has begun to click twice as fast. I am thinking the flasher is needing replaced. Anyone know where it is located? 84 chassis.

all signals operate as they should for now... Just blinks faster for rt turn.

Thanks.

That blinks twice as fast does indicate a burned out bulb. Inadvertent safety feature!

Maybe not so inadvertent.

"It is also required that the vehicle operator be alerted by much faster- or slower-than-normal flashing in the event a turn signal light fails."

Any change in amp-draw changes the blink-rate IF it's the correct flasher and mechanical with the thermal bi-metal trip. . Thus the issues with LED replacements or with so-called "HD flashers." I see many people with LEDs are using electronic flashers with adjustable blink rate.

Interesting, and I learned something new.

I had a 79 Cordoba. When the brake light burned out, the interior dome light came on if you depressed the brake pedal.
