Bummer Bumper!

Recommended Posts

  • 2 weeks later...

I lost my stock bumper going across Minnesota. It was not worth getting repaired. I was referred to a local welding shop and the guy fabricated and installed a very sturdy rear bumper. He also reinforced the rear of the frame while he was at it. I would have done the job myself but I was 300 miles from home. The total bill was under $200. I was very impressed with the work and the price.

Also me, in my case the weld held and the bumper just tore the metal

Dumb me I didn't wait long enough to turn and caught the bumper on a post to protect the gas pump and had to find some thing to back into to bend it enough to get home!
