Stevo
I have a 1982 Toyota Sunrader 18' motorhome with a Ronco black water tank (59HT-1944) in the bathroom. Does anyone know what kind of plastic they were using to make their black water tanks out of in 1982? (If it matters, this black water tank is actually black in color.) Is it polyethelene? I called Ronco but they are closed until January 2. Thanks Steve

Stevo
Hmmm, now that I think about it, it does look like ABS, but how do you know for sure its ABS?
linda s
Mine was seriously broken by a truck that dropped it's load of wood in front of my rig. I repaired my tank with ABS glue. Must have been close to 6 years ago and no leaks yet so I'm guessing it's ABS. DA Linda S
linda s
Unless it's been replaced it's ABS. All the holding tanks on older motorhomes are. Poly does seem to be what is used now but I am assuming his is the original tank. I have repaired the tanks on several motorhomes so far and have yet to see a poly one on anything I have done. All were 1993 or older Linda S
