nooga
the side house door on my 1994 Itasca Spirit rattles to beat the band while driving down the road. Is there any easy way to tighten it up w/o taking entire door off or replacing it? Would appreciate any suggestions. I realize that motorhomes and rattles cannot be entirely separated but this rattle is excessive. nooga
WME
A couple of choices. See if the door striker can be adjusted. Its the part on the door frame, not the door. Get some foam weather strip and redo the door weather strip.
waiter
^^ I did the same, 3/8 foam self adhesive strip around the door frame. Shut that noise up.JOhn Mc
Vanman
Mine is like that cause the door in not flat anymore. I found I had to use the thicker solid rubber strip insulation, even doubled up at the bottom. Use the same on the other side of the door where it hits the rv so when you open it there's no damage to the side of the RV. john
nooga
Thanks for the helpful hints. Will check the latch and invest in some weather stripping. nooga
