Sunrading Arkansas
Just installed these (http://www.thumblockfasteners.com/TVGrips.html) to lock down my Microwave and thought it might be useful to pass along. I was going to use handles screwed into the counter-top like Waiter did, but these seem to work well and don't require permanent mounting:
waiter
I didn't think about those. good idea They're "Earthquake Clips". We used those to tie everything down when I lived in California, that way when the big one came, the appliances and all the other stuff wouldn't end up on the floor after all the shaking was over.JOhn Mc 88 Dolphin 4 Auto
Zarleno
We are using those for our microwave, too. They work very well and, when the oven died and had to be replaced, I learned just how difficult they are to peel off of an appliance! Even then, there was no marking or scarring of the oven or the counter top above the fridge. I recommend them highly!
