podenbeck
So I have a 1982 Phoenix and the internal vinyl trimming was done pretty poorly by a previous owner. I am wondering where you might find this single channel trim and how and what adhesive you use to attach the trim? Thoughts ideas???

podenbeck
Sorry maybe I should give a little more description. The trim/finish that I am talking about finishes the edge of the particle board on the back of the dining seating etc. It has a single center channel and is a vinyl and 1/2" wide. The previous "lazy" owner just stapled it into place and cut it where it would not make a curve. Well I guess that I am lazy as well for not taking a pic. But the Phoenix is not near the house right now making that kinda difficult.
waiter
Google "vinyl T molding" and look at the images. I used to fix pinball machines and video games and we used this stuff by the ton. JOhn Mc 88 Dolphin 4 Auto
Davidadro
Is it the metal rtim that the vinyl goes into like these your looking for? If it is, then the trim screws down, that is why it is covered with the vinyl insert, to seal around the length of the track where the mounting screws are holding it down, You dont need any sealant, but under the trim one can use butyl tape. Good luck! http://www.interstat...lu_moulding.htm http://www.rvplus.co...campaign=google here is a 100 foot roll of new insert vinyl if you need it, but it is available many places, maybe even cheaper. http://www.rvsupplyparts.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=8952
