Hello,

I think I've seen motorhomes as long as 23 feet on the Toyota chassis.

Did the builders of the 21-23 foot Toyota motorhomes use a longer Toyota truck chassis than is used on the 19' models?

I guess what I'm asking is what is/was the longest Toyota motorhome truck chassis?

Thanks,

Mike

Welcome MikeS ! You know, I don't know if they made a longer frame or not. Several guys here have done a lot of work on the frames of these things. Changeing a two wheel drive to four wheek drive, etc. They just can't leave the poor buggers alone. They are very knowlegeable, I just look at 'em out of the corner of my eye, if ya know what I mean.

Just bought an 87 Dolphin in March 2010 which has the original owners manual from Dolphin and from Toyota. The Toyota manual shows 4 wheelbases as follows: short 103.0", long 112.2", extra long 121.5" and super long 137.0". My 87 Dolphin has a 137.0" wheelbase and is 21'7" long.

I think that the Escapers and the some of the later model Ez Riders had the WB extended at the factory. My Escaper is 143" WB. The EZ Rider is even longer
