Derek up North
There is no such thing as a '1979 Dolphin battery isolator'. Try looking for an 'RV battery isolator'.
waiter
Google "RV Battery Isolator" I would consider getting one of the inexpensive ones that look like a small can. These are 1/2 to 1/3 the price of the electronic ones. Check out Tweetys John Mc 88 Dolphin 4 Auto
Maineah
I think you said you had a solid state isolator if so---most auto parts stores will have them a 70 amp unit is fine. What you need to do before you go looking is count the number of terminals there will be 3 larger ones and maybe one small one if the small one is wired you will need to use a 4 terminal isolator. If it is not wired all you need is the 3 terminal unit or for that matter the 4 terminal and don't worry about the 4th wire if that's all they have. If you have a relay type they should have that also make sure it is a Continuous duty solenoid! They look like a starter solenoid but they are not. The solid state isolators involved some rewiring of the alternator so to switch back to a relay you would have to change the wiring so either way replace what you got.
