Furnace pilot out

What furnace model is it?

On mine, the blower kicks on, and a few seconds later, the igniter lights the furnace, mine has no "pilot light".

A common problem is the sail switch, this switch tells the controller that the blower is running. If it doesn't detect the blower the furnace doesn't light.

If I remember right, it only does one try, if it fails, it doesn't try again or reset, and the blower runs forever.

Download the manual for the furnace and look at the sail switch.

Unless it's very old like Waiter said it's electronic no pilot. Try it with the MH plugged in and see what happens needs pretty good air flow to trigger the sail switch so if your battery is a bit low it may not light. And yes if it's the original board it will only try once you'll have to turn it off let the fan stop and try again.
