WME Posted August 5, 2011 Share Posted August 5, 2011 Cummings/Nissan are working on a new diesel for small pickups. The specs are real interesting. 2.8L (170 cid), 220hp and 380lb ft of torque. Supposed to get 28 mpg in a Titian sized PU. I have been entertaining the idea of using a Cummins 12v as the power plant for my next project. I did a little research and found an article on this new 4 cylinder diesel 2.8L L4 Mule Diesel engine . Enjoy this read, it has some eye candy too!
