86 Granville front brake question

The parts stores and Toyota dealer do not have calpiers

that I have on the rv.

Any one have an idea what I can do?

What is funny is I was at advance yesterday and they

could not find that caliper in the computer at all.

OK, but note that I found those by searching for calipers for a '91. I didn't know, one way or another, if there was a change in brake calipers between '86 and '91. So I looked on the Cardone web site.

For '86 they show a PN 19-B1030, about the same as Advance. For '91, they show the same PN, so it looks like they MIGHT be the same. I looked at AutoZone and got thoroughly confused by the selection offered. I'm not sure if your '86 has what they'd call a 1/2 ton or 1 ton front end, and the PNs are different. I'd suggest that you take one of your old calpers to thestore with you!

As for Advance, "You pay peanuts, you get monkeys"!

The rotors are different too for the 1 ton 6 bolt NAPA carries them also.
