  1. About the axel removal.. i am only changing the seals so What difference in the proceducure from changing or re packing the bearings? What size are the 2 service bolts that you screw in to get the axel out after you remove the bolts and cone washers? Do you need these or does the axel come out after you remove the cone washers? Tom H
  2. Any one know what size the 2 service bolts are?? These are the bolts you screw in to get the axle to come out. Thanks Tom H
  3. 1. I take the wheels off. 2. Remove the bolts off the axle cover. 3. ??? How does the cover and the axle come off now that the bolts are off? 4. Or just how do i change the axle seal that is leaking? Thanks Tom H
  4. Thank you that is it. What is funny is I was at advance yesterday and they could not find that caliper in the computer at all.
  5. The parts stores and Toyota dealer do not have calpiers that I have on the rv. Any one have an idea what I can do?
  6. I was looking at it all the time:) just thought it was the furnace..... New at this:) thanks for info
  7. I think it was removed? Looked all over can't locate it. Under foldout couch seems likely there are some wires that are just sitting there. Any ideas?
  8. Yes, i did find the compartment on the drivewr side that would house the batt. No Battery in it, that is what threw me off. The large compartment is for a Gen. I just bought 2 120AH batt and put them in the large compartment as the previous owner had moved the wiring for the batt to that area and added wiring for 2 batt in parallel. Thanks for all the info, great board here. Tom H
  9. Yes, i was surprised to see it on the label as 10.5GPM. It also has a 1985 date on the pump, so it has lasted all this time. Only issue is a small insert for one of the screws pulled out on the pressure switch end and casued a leak. Tried to fix it but no luck. So have to get a new one. thanks for the info. Tom H
  10. I noticed on my 86 Granville that the water pump lists 10.5 Gal a minute. I need a new one and most of the ones i see are much less than that. Is a lower GPM ok? Looks to me i would be. All the new ones are much less than that. thanks, TH
  11. Where might this be:) House battery that is. Large compartment on the driver side with nothing in it only some wires, Gen area? Batteries? Thanks, Tom H
