Richard
Hello all! I am new to this organization and happy to be a part of the group! I have an 89 Toyota Seabreeze with rubber air bags as part of the rear suspension. I guess they don't last more than 17 years as I need to find some new ones. Per the motorhome manufacturer, the original bag maker went out of business. I called a couple air bag suppliers, who said they might be able to help, at $300 per bag. (I don't need that kind of help.) A toyota dealer said they are not Toyota parts. Anybody find a source for air bags? Tried air shocks instead, with success? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Gulfstream Greg
JC Whittney sells air bags for the toyota. I think they are about $209 for the set. Its highly unlikely that you will find a replacement just for one being that old. Go here Greg
Dirk
You might also try Air Ride suspension. You may have to fab the mounts, but lots of hotroders and custom car geeks are using them http://www.ridetech.com/ -Dirk
futar
I purchased new air bags for a fraction of what was available through stores. Firestone makes most of them. Go to their link and find a source http://www.ride-rite.com/ Try this source also http://www.truckspring.com/air-springs-light-duty_257.html. I cruised the net and found much lower prices. Some of the newer ones are made from urethane and should last much longer
