1988 Dolphin suspension - brake

Hello, I am working on a 1988 Toyota 1 ton dually chassis 22R Dolphin. 6 lug rear. This i my first work on this vehicle, and noticed the wheel base is like 36" longer than stock pickup. my questions is for brakes and suspension, do I use regular pickup items or special RV ones, and where can I get. Also since longer wheel base the "u"-joints?

Your wheelbase should be 137 inches. This was a stock Toyota extra long wheelbase. Some things different and some not but all Toyota.
