I have a 1985 2-lt turbo diesel engine. I am looking for any resources on this. My current problem is a fuel pump. Do you think I have a fuel pump/sender unit at tank? The reason I ask is I do not know if an injector pump draws from the tank? I have little knowledge on diesel engines and it is hard to find info on this vintage motor. At first look, without dropping tank is that I do not see wires. It gets a little confusing also because the diesel generator also draws from main tank. Anyone have some insight? Thanks

Yes it has a low pressure pump. My guess one pump for both.

I don't know if this will work but it's a complete repair manual for Toyota diesel engines. You just scroll down but probably be easier to print a huge book like the original
