Hi, I need to change the transmission fluid on my 1991 Toyota Warrior V6 . What type of transmission fluid and how much should I use ? Are synthetics better ?

You want regular Dextron III. Total capacity is 7.6 quarts but not all of it will come out. Plan on at least 6 quarts and one of them will be to flush the trannie so drain hole open. After you refill being careful to not overfill, put in reverse then through all gears slowly, then stop and put in park. Then check fluid level again. Vehicle must be running to check trannie fluid. Check at least one more time after driving it a ways.
