chartrue
Have a new (to me) 1992 Winnebago Toye that had a generator at one time, but no longer does. Would like to replace it. What was in there? The generator compartment seems very small and I haven't been able to find anything that looks like it would fit. Even the Honda 2000i has dimensions that are too big. Please help! tawd77
Anyone have a picture of where their generator is located? I just got a 87 odyssey and it has no generator. Would like to put one in it if possible. Thanks
bufbooth
The Onan generators are not cheap compared to a larger Honda. Also, you will be losing some valuable storage space. I have seen a few setups where a Honda generator was placed a hitch carrier or back bumper, secured by a pad lock. The con is that it was not connected to the motorhome's gas tank and could not be remotely started. The pro was that it was 1/3 to 1/2 the price of the Onan, and it can be removed for other uses. toto
the 2800 micro lite is what came in mine. it is snug but fits. i have a 91 dolphin We have an Onan 2800 in our 93 Sea Breeze with no manual. Do you have a manual, and would you be willing to copy it? We'd be most appreciative.

Sandro L
hey a 1500w generator will power a 9k btu ac unit correct? but is a 9k btu good for a 86 21ft dolphin?
Derek up North
I've heard reports that the Honda EU2000i will run the smaller a/c units. Here are the Honda specs:- 2,000 watts max. 1,600 watts rated Will the 9000 Btuh be big enough will depend on lots of factors, but mainly on how hot is it where you live and how cool do you want it to be inside.
