I would like to replace the element on the hotbwater heater, but i can't remove it. It seems to be rusted in place. I did get the petcock to open. Can I put pressure on it to break it loose? Unless you know exactly what you are doing it's best to leave the propane to the pros and if that's the case then linda nailed it, replacement is most likely the answer.
