Little Dolphin Posted July 18, 2018 Share Posted July 18, 2018 Hi everyone! I just joined and am about to do an engine swap on our 1984 Dolphin (21’ RV). The motor is the 22RE and it has bit the dust (once more), I fixed a blown head gasket about a year ago and then just had our timing chain break on us while on Highway 1. We just found a replacement engine (22RE) on eBay for what seems to be a good deal ($999) with a 1 year warranty. Just wondering if anybody has gone through an engine swap and could help guide me through it. I have never done a core swap and could use some help anything that could help point me in the right direction is greatly appreciated!
