Anybody have a good set up recipe for solar power ?Please be detailed from what what size wire ,battery's and how many watts are you storing ,solar charger controller battery charging regulator ,solar panel, how many watts are your panels and Thank you for taking the time to do this.I've been back and forth on this.

So in my 87 Dolphin my panel for water,black, gray, clean and Power is kind of off. I charged the battery with a smart charger and after it was done I pressed on the power the panel read 3/4. I hooked up multi-meter and read 12.3v. Has anybody replaced this panel and where do I get one. Thank you

I have an 87 Dolphin was wondering if some one already replace there shocks and steering stabilizer? If so, whats the # 's and what kind of shocks? Thanks.

I did notice the outside seal around the window is cracked and old.

Today was a nice day to work on the Dolphin.Had my wife and son helping.We took the windows out and inspect resealed three windows.Found a problem around one window .It was cut too much around .About half inch all way around.Notice that it was molding around even with Butyl tape.So I resealed it and when it cures (the caulking ) I'm going to unscrew the inside frame and caulk it.I noticed going around twice with the butyl tape was the ticket.and screw it and cut the extra off.Four windows and corners to go.Then start the inside. It's going to pay off doing it the right way!

Hey ,I don't know what you did but I hope you took your windows out.Its the right way.If you put caulking around you are just putting a band aid on a problem.Today My wife my son and I did three windows.its soooooooooo easy. Hint go around with butyl tape twice around the window.

used butyl tape but had to double it..I forgot to add the RV repair guy had an extra flap that was broken so asked him if he would sell it to me.He said here.So in the picture there is an extra flap cut out.Its the second picture from the bottom.

So today went and talk to the guys at the RV repair shop and brought them donuts as a thank you .I was looking for the vent for the stove .I brought the old stove sleeve that goes to to the wall to the vent.He said it was to old for the stuff he has.So to bought it and was think make a bigger hole?I thought it would be better to cur the $11.vent.

Jaunt ,you are right.I tried the key I had and it did work on the lock he gave me.So change those dead bolt and lock them before you leave even for couple minutes.Just for a piece of mind. The place I went to is Meridian RV Service & Repair -9918 162nd street Ct E Puyallup, WA .If there's any of you guys around here I would maybe like to meet with you guys .

So my son and I went to a local RV repair and service place by my house .I asked him about the lock I had and what was going on.At first he was like you need to drive it here.He said he doesn't no what kind of lock I had.So I had picture with a tape measure next to the lock on my phone and told him that on the internet they wanted about $150.-$200.He looks at me and said wait and goes to the back.He comes back and said does this look like it ?and my son says that's it.He said here you can have it for free.I shook his hand said thank you with a big cheesy smile and said score in my mind!!!!! He said next time it won't be.So I told my boss the next day and he asked where this place was because he needed his hole roof redone.I'm going to go there tomorrow and bring lunch for them.That's good business right there!!!!!!

the one i started to seal the cargo area is Sikaflex construction sealant.For around the front and back seal I ordered Seal tite Corner tape 1 1/2".let me know what you guys think.Oh I was wondering what glazing seal would you use for the windows?

Has anybody ever use sikaflex to seal around there RV ?

So I'm taking all the cargo, vents off and resealing them. So the vent on top for the above the stove the metal flapper is broken.It looks like tape with rivets in them .Need one of those.The storage water door the breather tube is broken to the at the door and the white tube inside has slashes in them.Anybody know a good place that I could find parts for these things?ThanksOh the side and roof is next to be resealed.

I have a dead bolt but the lock to the camper is broken .I was wondering what lock has anybody got to replace the old lock?I was looking at RV Designer T507 RV Motorhome Entry Lock with Deadbolt

I just bought a 87 Dolphin .EFI manual .My family travels for my son's baseball games.For two years on rainy we would tough it out . But when I was on FB and seen a add for this yoda.I was like score.Anyways This weekend I'm cleaning caulking and reapplying the calking with Sikaflex for now.If we keep it I will get a kit and take the molding off an redo it.Yes it is slow going up hill like my 85 4x4. My toyota club was thinking of a 3.4 swap.Anyways I think I like just the way it is.Thanks for the ADD.
