  1. ANy ideas where to get a new one that fits a 86 sunrader?
  2. Hello Again. I have a 86 sunrader. Just got back from a big 7,000 mile journey. Out of the blue my interior lights ( one entire side ) stopped working. I check the fuses in the cab under the dash and the fuses in the engine area... all seem to be in good shape. I have heard there is another fuse box in the camper. I have looked and found no clues... Anyone have a clue where I can find the fuses? cheers. jamie
  3. where did you get said tank? cheers. Jamie
  4. Any idea where to get a stock tank for a 1986 toyota Sunrader? Please advise I have a huge leaking problem. jamie
  5. OD is out and the rig wont start. Maybe related? Changed out the cold start sensor switch as the valve worked fine with voltage. Still not cranking. any apiffanies?
  6. Thanks! Can you tell me how to find the cold start sensor? I need to go to town and get a book for this engine, or is there a link on this site that has a digital copy.
  7. I have the same issue... is this an easy do it yourself project? If so, how and where is this switch?
  8. I have a 85 sunrader w a 4 banger 22re. She started up wonderfully at lower altitudes first crank. Now, after driving her 1000 miles and up to 7,000 feet she takes three cranks and lot of gas pumping to crank over. I put in gas and fuel injector cleaner, then tried higher octane... yet, nothing helps. Fuel issue? Fuel filter? Where to start looking? Thanks! Jamie made it to flagstaff... the wind has died
  9. When it happened - I heard a bit of ticking sounds from the steering column. Has anyone else heard this??? Or is this a relay problem? stuck in clovis...
  10. Just drove up to Clovis NM, from Arkansas. When the altitude changed in west TX the OD stopped working - Please advise? jamie travelers rv park.
  11. Thanks for the insight. And sorry for the repeated post... it was my internet connection. So in your opinion - to repack, and re grease the wheel bearings is overkill. The wheel gaskets show no sign of leaks or cracks. I have no leaks, and no noise issues. Just want to be road ready. Jamie
  12. Dear Sunrader Owners. I just bought a 86 sunrader with a full floating 6 lug axle. My mechanic mentioned ALL the wheel bearings need to be greased and repacked as the rig as 89,000 miles on it. Is there truth to this? No leaks. Thanks. Jamie new owner
  13. Hello Fellow Yota Rv's! I just purchased a 1986 Sunrader with a 22 R-e. I took it to my mechanic and he has worked on toyotas for 20 plus years. Anyway, he recommended repacking all the wheel bearings. no sign of leaks. He said with the 89,000 miles it has on it - it needs to be repacked and lubed? Is this true? Cheers Jamie Anderson rv newbie.
