One more down, the 12 cooling fan is a simple set up. Fan, 12v power, temp sensitive snap switch, maybe a fuse. Check the fan motor, they are real cheap and don't age well.

There are 2 basic style air chucks for duallys .The 2 way angled and the 2 way straight. Go to Amazon and you will see what they look like. After you figure out what stem you have get the best chuck.

It all depends on what the outside temp is as to how much the dash AC will cool the house I do a lot of desert driving and when I had my toy, it got a plastic shower curtain between the cab and house. At about 100 deg I would start the generator and run the roof AC to cool things down. FWIW last summer we took the new (to us) Winne to LV it was 116 degrees, it took the dash AC and running the generator with both roof airs to maintain 80 degrees inside.

Keeping your cool.. Worst thing is bare naked windows. Next up the list is Reflectix cut to fit on the inside. I'll give it a 70%. Next is Reflectix on the OUTSIDE, use magnets to hold it. Don't know how viable this would be in an RV. Use just plain white glue on the wall/ceiling and use a regular old hot clothes iron. Just slowly iron things back into place

Remove the tank. Take it where there no open flames. Open the spit valve if vapor comes out then the tank is not overfull. Close the valve and go about your business. If liquid comes out the tank is over full so wait until vapor comes out then close spit valve The spit valve is NOT the main valve where the hose connect

A rare but simple overlooked answer is a bad breaker in the RV panel. If the amp draw is high then you most likely have a bad compressor and the answer is a newer AC.

A slightly irrelevant thought The worse thing you can do to a tire is just let it sit in the sun. As you drive the tire heat causes the oils in the rubber to move and refresh the rubber. So your 8 year old tires are probably in better shape than the same tire thats 5 years old and has 5,000 mi.

Remove the fan molding and see if there is a power line in the edge of the cutout

OK you were shifting... that eliminates the really $$$$$ stuff. Slave cylinder jammed ( easy replacement), throw out bearing, clutch fork broken, broken fork pivot. Your transmission will have to come out to get to most of the clutch stuff. If you have to do this have the shop do a complete clutch replacement, the parts are reasonable and most of the labor is getting the transmission out. CHECK THE SHIFTER PIVOT BALL IN THE TRANSMISSION. Its the cheapest easiest fix for this possible problem. Its on the top of the transmission where the shifter goes into it.

Wow, if your by yourself there's not much you can do, but wait for a tow. Check to see if the clutch master cylinder is full If some body is with you push it. Look at the drive shaft turns. If it turns try pushing with the transmission in 4th gear. IF the turns it sorts means the rear axle is good. IF the entire drive shaft does not turn, possible rear axle problems or only the rear part turns a bad ujoint or broken drive line coupler spline. It it turns in 4th gear, bad transmission, bad shifter piviot bushing. Not much to repair on the side of the road. Get towed to a repair shop and talk to them Monday. Good luck
