  1. Yup That VIN was only covered by the Special Policy Adjustment which expired years ago. You could have just checked the documents to find that out. All the VINs are listed by service campaign. Too bad it only missed it by a couple of hundred vehicles. 89's and early 90's are not covered by the forever one Linda S
  2. These look good too. It's a hand rail flange for mounting railing but for a 1 1/2 inch outside diameter pipe. Pretty too http://www.knobsandhardware.com/handrail-brackets/lido-510-3-in-diameter-wall-flange-for-1-12-in-outside-diameter-tubing_g1542791.html?isku=10717452&linkloc=cataLogProductItemsImage Linda S
  3. I think I already found something that will work. You need to measure the widest part at the end that needs to go in the hole but some of these are a little bigger than one inch. Closet rod holders are about an inch. Some of these are 1 5/16 you just need to find one you like. This is just an example. I would go to big hardware store with your table leg http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Sets-Oil-Rubbed-Bronze-Closed-Open-Brackets-for-1-5-16-Round-Closet-Rod-/300709962983?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4603b5e4e7#ht_400wt_934 Linda S
  4. Yeah I forgot you were the one who posted that cool trailer. This link might be more direct http://groups.yahoo.com/group/minitruckcampers/photos/album/303366498/pic/list Linda S
  5. post picture and I will see what I can find. What make is your RV? never mind. Winnebago Warrior. Linda S
  6. Well it's more than worth it to me to pay him 30 bucks an hour and not have him feel like I am taking advantage of him. The way I look at it I'm saving 90 bucks an hour and getting the work done by someone I trust. He and my daughter both work full time and have 5 children so any free time for him is precious. I try not to take advantage of his skills too often and I do a lot of work myself but for some things you need a real mechanic. When he had more time, fewer kids, one of his rock crawlers was in the top 10 of fourwheeler magazine contest. Linda S
  7. Bunch on ebay. The recessed usually goes on the floor if you have a hole for it to go into just see what will work best for you http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=&_qfkw=1&_mqf=0&_osacat=50067&Part%2520Type=Interior&_dmpt=Motors_RV_Trailer_Camper_Parts_Accessories&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0&_nkw=table+base&_sacat=50067&_from=R40 Linda S
  8. I talked to my son-in-law about possibly converting my Sunrader to 4x4. With me only paying him a piddleing 30 bucks an hour for the work the conversion would have come in at 5 grand. I always pay him for any work he does but 30 bucks an hour is about 1/4 of the going rate in Northen Cal. At full price from a regular mechanic the bill would come in at over 10 grand. Instead of being indignant that these Sunraders sell for so much you should be thinking hey I can make a killing here. 6 grand for materials and a little work and you could have at least 10 grand profit. They sell every time on ebay for big bucks and people fly across country to get them no problem Linda S.
  9. Well I just checked and mine are flat so the more available wheels have the tapered holes. you would have to find left hand nuts with the cone shape to seat in the wheels, none out there that I could find, or replace all the studs to right hand and buy the correct lugs for those wheels. Yes Derek would be quite a mish mash but the only problem with LH nuts is stupid tire guys who don't listen to you and break them Linda
  10. I haven't done it myself but have been informed by several people that with all the years - the wheels interchange, regardless of LH or RH threads. Makes sense to me. Why would it make and difference? Diffefrent taper seat in the lug holes? JD Yup one of them has cone shaped lug nut that seat into the wheel and the other just has flat nuts. Mine is an 86 with the 6 hand hole wheel that is different from all the rest but I can't remember which it is , flat or cone. Haven't looked at it lately Linda S
  11. In 10 years on toyota motorhome sites I have only seen 2 4x4 Sunraders go for less than 10 grand. One of them was gutted by a fire and the other guy was just plain lucky to find a decent one for cheap.Supply and demand. The supply is very limited and the demand for these is pretty darn high. Linda S
  12. Just like mine and I never have had a spare for anything but the front. Some people worry too much. I've had 2 flats in 10 years and have never had to take my spare down. Always in the back and just drove to a tire store. I was lucky though cause the failure both times was valve stems not tires. Remaining tire on that side kept the weight off of the flat tire and there was no damage to the flat tire at all Linda S
  13. The Sunrader 4x4's were built on a stock 4x4 chassis with 15 inch wheels. The rear axle was originally the standard axle with fake 15 inch duallies. This one was upgraded to a full floater which only came stock with 14 inch wheels. Custom 15 inch dual wheels on the back are the best way to go so you don't have problems with different size wheels when in 4x4 mode. So now it's 15 all around Linda S
  14. If it's in the middle of the steel wheel I'm pretty sure they can be welded . Linda S
  15. Well is the generator original to your 83 motorhome? You need to tell us brand and model but yes they are quite loud in most cases. I have a Kohler 2500 and it runs fine but I never use it because of the sound and vibration in my rig. Linda S
  16. Did you look at that site and see the pics of that lady? She's at least a 12 in the looks catagory. She was always going to move on to probably somone richer. I'm betting your wife brags to all her friends about all you do and I told you before you are surely a hero to your kids. Creating something with your own hands and from your own creativity is a wonderful thing. In todays world a rare ability too. Linda S
  17. The wheel is an odd ball but you can use a newer toyota dually if you put it on the inside. Otherwise you have to replace left had studs with right hand to fit different lug nuts properly. How did they not find the leak? my guess would be the valve stem. Tire installers might have damaged it or got it loose somehow Linda S
  18. Weird cause in the main description it says several times can be safely run with no pressure. Linda S
  19. Well if it's still there it is a great deal. Owned by an old guy with a beautiful house and he's owned it at least since 2011. I'm a google snoop. You can see it through the trees on street view. Map data 2011. Nice Linda S
  20. This one has already been listed far longer than I expected. I expected it to be gone in a day Linda S
  21. He probably didn't fix it for the same reason I don't have a working water heater after 10 years. Cause it just didn't bother him. I know the owner and he had a lot of fun in this camper. Young couple, nice people. I found the custom 15 inch duallies for him. Price might be a little high but hey you can always bargan down, you can never go up. Linda S
  22. Best of all it's got the 5 speed manual tranny. Rare in any v6 toyota motorhome but I think even rarer in Sunraders. Linda S
  23. Well if you got this pic from SD truck springs they have an awful lot of discounts on this. by the time you add all the discounts, if they will apply them all, it comes in at around $260. Not bad for someone who needs a replacement kit. Inside bumper looks neat. No minimum pressure needed so if a rock takes out your air lines you can get somewhere safely without trashing your bags. I haven't seen these before http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=19781&currency=USD&gclid=CJKq-fSJy7kCFap7QgodskgAqw Linda S
  24. This looks to be the same one and it has the full float axle. http://glensfalls.craigslist.org/rvs/4024863985.html Linda S
