  1. So glad you guys mentioned Lowes for wall paper. I looked and found what looks to be an exact match for the Sunrader paneling. Next time I'm near a Lowes I'm going to check it out. I painted the lower half of my dinette area because of water stains from before the windows were resealed. I would love to get back to the original look if possible. Worth a try at least Linda S
  2. Yes I agree with Don. The fridge is about as efficient as your going to get. Your Chinook looks beautiful but the tops have been known to sag. I might consider putting up some lightweight solar but an air conditioning unit is out of the question. Not to mention trying to pop the top with another 100lbs up there. Linda S
  3. Where did you see a V6 Nissan listed. One of our members in Washington is looking. I see nothing on craigslist Linda S Well I found where it was. Gone in a day. Got to be fast looking for Sunraders
  4. Yup I was looking at the wrong one. This one is even better and cheaper. http://www.harborfreight.com/12-ton-heavy-duty-low-profile-industrial-hydraulic-bottle-jack-66569.html Linda S
  5. There are a billion Harbor Freights and you can buy online. It's cheap. Just get it. You need all the lift you can get in some places Linda S
  6. Please attempt to stay on track. A member asked a question and it wasn't about fishing Linda S
  7. So it's only the equivalent of 3800 dollars US. Buy it before it sells to someone else. If it costs even 2 grand to get it in order you will still be less than most 18 footers sell for in the US. They all need work. At least this one shows so it won't be a surprise Linda S
  8. Harbor Freight says the stubby jack is 7 1/4 to 16 1/4 from closed to fully open. That is exactly the same as my Toyota jack so probably a good choice Linda S
  9. Well they are trailer tires. They are not meant for a vehicle that has to steer because of the stiffer side walls. No legitimate tire place should have ever agreed to install them. The correct tire size should be on your drivers side door jamb. 185r14 Linda S
  10. Anything here look familiar on yours. Has the idle up parts listed http://parts.villagetoyota.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=355414 Linda S
  11. Just plug it in the night before and put some frozen bottles of water in the freezer. It will be ready by the time you leave and you won't trash your battery. Either way always check the water in your house battery every few months. They will last so much longer. Also only add distilled water, not purified, when it needs it Linda S
  12. I have my original bottle jack. The dual pistons give more travel between the lowest and the highest setting and I find you need that much lift. They can be found on EBay. Sometimes expensive but if you take the time to wait sometimes pretty cheap. Also helps to have the extension rod for it. I lost mine somewhere and bought an extension rod from eBay for a Land Cruiser. Perfect fit. Linda S
  13. The 1986 double wheel chassis was listed in Toyota books as heavy, WT. Not 1 ton. It's confusing for sure. Even the newer V6 models say 1/2 ton for the WT chassis which makes no sense at all. If you see WT anywhere your on the right track. All duallies for both Toyota and Nissan are a WT chassis. Had an argument at a Nissan dealer parts department with the manager insisting they never made a dual wheel chassis truck. Had him look up WT chassis and he shut up real fast and found the part I needed. Your very welcome Linda S
  14. Very interesting. I do have one friend who used your full float kit on his 4x4 Sunrader. He opted to go for single 16 inch wheels and E load tires and was very happy with it. Glad to hear that companies like yours are interested in our little motorhomes though. We intend for them to be around for a very long time Linda S
  15. 3M 5200 MARINE SEALER Dry the area off and put around outlet. Wear gloves and use your finger to make sure it's pushed into the area completely. Linda S
  16. Filter attachment? Filling the fresh water tank doesn't need an attachment. Show me what it looks like or at least bring it Sunday so I can see it. Linda S
  17. Beware leaving you camper plugged in all the time. you probably have an older model power center and without a smart charger you can fry your house battery. At least check the water frequently Linda S
  18. I don't know how far off your garage is but if you always park it in the same place some nice wide boards stacked up to the right height that you can just drive onto work great. Just leave them there and it will always park level Linda S
  19. Neat find. Lots of people love these rear door ones. Got to be a 77 or 78 model Linda S
  20. I think our bolt pattern is 6 x 7.25. No it makes no sense to me either but every after market part I could find the measurements said 110mm. Guess we just have to wait until he gets them. Linda S
  21. go to sanidumps.com there are a couple not too far. Do you have the correct hoses. you had better or it's going to be bad Linda S
  22. Open the toilet valve with the water pump off and look down. Is it full. My tank register panel never worked Linda S
  23. Yes Sunraders leak at the windows and roof vents. If not the previous owner wouldn't have had to remove paneling. paneling is still much easier to replace than wall structure. This one can be fixed. I've seen worse. It's just a matter of skill and will. Linda S
  24. But in this case I was only trying to help. Move past it. I really hope the parts fit Linda
  25. I have said nothing rude in any way. I found the part but I probably won't do it again. You just can't please some people Linda S
