  1. I bought a 1994 Winnebabo Warrior on 6-18-2013, it had 36,800 miles on it. Took it to Toyota dealership, gave them the vin#, they looked it up. The head gasket recall was done in 1999 with 9,987 miles on it. I asked if there was a time limit on the recall. NO was the answer. AS long as it had not been done already-just one head gasket job per recall. NO time limit.
  2. We have two . #1 is our first one, a 1984 Dolphin 500 RD, 136,100 miles-we put 58,000 of those miles on it in 6 years. If runs perfect. #2 is a 1994 winnebago Warrior 321RB that we bought three months ago. It had 36,805 miles on it, it now has 40,794 miles. The Dolphin will be for sale once I get current pictures taken. We are located in Grants Pass, Oregon. Darrel & Gun
  3. ron & sue, It's getting dark & cant see the key pad. We are on the main land. Just saw the most beautiful sun-set at Sunlund camp ground in Lund. Saw you bought new tires, congrats. Now you can come down & visit our part of the world. Sue, Gun very much enjoyed your books. Read both of them. Darrel & Gun
  4. I occasionally tow my 15' 1360# fishing boat. Would not try to double the tow weight. Have a 84 Dolphin with 137,000 miles, it runs perfectly but doubt it would after that much tow weight and that long of a distance.
  5. Looks like a project all rite.My daughter lives in Peoa.
  6. My 94 Winnebago had two cats. I live in a area that does not require smogging so I had the cats removed and a free flow muffler installed. We are also attending the Vancouver toy-in but wont be there until the 22nd. Don't know if there is any performance differences as we recently bought it and this will be our first road trip. Ours has 37K on the odometer. We also have gone through everythig now transfering our belongings from a 1984 Dolphin to the Winnebaco. Didnt know we had so much in the Dolphin. Darrel
  7. Just found out that we have to be in Portland at 10am on the 21st. We can make the 8:15 am ferry on the 22nd and make the toy-in on the afternoon of the 22nd. Darn I was realy wanting to be on the island by the 20th. Plan on at least one month on Vancouver Island. Darrel and Gun
  8. I bought one of them new in 1978. The rear dullies were welded together and never ran round. Complained to toyota and they sent me a set of wheeles that bolted together, still a 5 lug but was much better. Times got tough and had to sell it. The rear seat was impossible to get into except for a child. There is one sitting down the road from me. Darrel
  9. Yes and no. The brass ones that were installed in mine are not replacement valves bot something that would fit with new fittings and pipe. Darrel
  10. Sliicefreely, I just went through that on a 1994 Winnebago Warrior. They are the same coach from what you described. The draines that are located above the gray tank drain onto the gray tank not into it. Kinda weird location to me. The drain valves are unique to Winnebago, your Itasca Spirit is just a upgrade from the Winnebago. Kinda like a Chevrolet to a GMC truck if you know what I mean. Anyway you may be able to pull the small round gray plunger out from the valve and replace the o-ring, mine wouldnt come out. Took it to a rv repair and they replaces the two valves under the range with brass valves, the valve under the couch was not leaking, holding my breath. $112.00 dollars later no leaks. The valves are no longer available. Darrel
  11. Linda, I just looked at my e-mail and realised I already deleted it. If you have the time to re-send it I would appreciate It. Darrel
  12. Thanks Linda, thats the same Kohler #'s as mine. Got a float bowl gasket, needle and seat from my local lawn mower shop. Worked great, guess I'll have to pull the plug as I set it at .025. It runs great but very noisy. Now I can compete with the other noisy campers. Are you going to the Vancouver island get together? My family live in your neck of the woods. Bonney Lake, Whidbey island, etc. Darrel
  13. I'm looking for spark plug gap on a Kohler 2.5 cmz 21rv generator. Can anyone help me. Darrel

  15. I also just put on Bilsteins, yesterday. What a improvement. My 20 year old originals were tired. Got new tires, shocks, fresh fluids all around, tune up, wash and wax, and alignment this morning. Got the shocks from ESHOCKS.COM took one week to get them they fit perfectuly. $262.00 free shipping Ouch!! the part #'s are Rear B46-0258-H1 Front B46-1772-H1 These #'s are for the mini-motorhome which we drive, I believe 1984-1994. 16. Yesterday we bought a 1994 Winnebage Warrior with 36,805 miles on it. Wow it has so much get up and go. A lot more than our 1984 Dolphin with 137,000 miles on it. If we can get it cleaned up, tires, shocks, fluids etc then we will drive it to the Vancouver Island get together. I have a bug bomb going off under it now because of the black widdows. Darrel
  17. Just booked for 6-21/6-23. We tried this last year but medical issues came up. Have booked s19. Looking forward to meeting everyone. We attended the Quartzite get together this year now plan on up to two months in BC. Darrel and Gun

  19. I have used nexen tires and am on the second set with 41,000 miles on the first set. 185R14 they could have gone longer but I like a safe ride. Check out this site www.onlinetires.com they have good prices. Click on shop by brand, chose your brand and size, enter a zip code for shipping and you have a quote.
  20. The 22r motor is nothing special for a motorhome. It's a 22r motor, in fact all of the toyota motorhomes all have run of the mill motors unless a special order of turbo charged and even then the motor specs are the same.
  21. Is there anyone out there with any knowledge about flexible solar panel. They glue or tape down with no mounting holes. Darrel
  22. My wife and I will be at the quartzsite ralley this year. This is the 4TH year we have tried to attend but something always came up. See you there. Darrel
  23. My wife showed me a web site add in a magazine---www.freecampgrounds.com. I looked at it. It showes camping areas for the US that are free or under $10. Have not used it yet but on the way to Quartzite I will. It also has a place to post a camp area that you know of that is free or 10 bucks. Darrel
