  1. Hey all, hope all of you are doing well. I picked up a couple Toyota RVs one being a 16ft Toyota Cal Camp from 1977 and the other being a 1983 Dolphin. I have a question on the older Cal Camp I only see a black water tank and a fresh water tank. No grey water. Was wonder did they not have a grey water tank installed in 77 and it all just went into the black water tank?
  2. I wonder how much they will run
  3. Hahahah. I need to get my cab AC fixed in mine. It blows cold but makes a weird rattle/clinking noise from the compressor when I turn it on. Definitely not right so I just leave it off for now.
  4. That’s what I’m thinking as well. BTW seen aSunrader here in Reno the other day pulling out of In N Out Burger a lady and her husband I assume and wondered if it was you LOL. This Sunrader appeared to be a 4x4 too had California plates
  5. Can anyone else confirm this? My brother sent this pic to me from Facebook showing a water filter at the hookup of the fresh water tank. I think its BS but I’ve been wrong before. Can anyone confirm this?
  6. My bathroom vent doesn’t really have a fan. It’s just a little 4”x4” cpu fan PO installed. I thought about putting a maxxfan in there, but felt it was too far back to be of good use. I’d really like to put one in above the upper bunk but it’s way to big is around 20x20 or so( escape hatch)
  7. Anyone ever cut another 14” opening in the ceiling to add another vent? I have a rear bathroom model and have a 14” vent in the bathroom, then the AC above stove/fridge area then a escape hatch/vent over the bunk. But I’ve seen some rv with another vent just inside the door. I’d like to cut a opening there for a fantastic fan. Wondering if anyone has done it and if so how hard of a job is it?
  8. Well I now see this post lol. I got the old flange off and put on a twist flange. The new one is on, hope I didn’t crack anything tho. It’s on tight. I will say the rubber pipe coming up from the holding tank seemed Malleable still. So I should be ok. The old flange was cracked and almost all my screws were rusted out and really not holding the flange down.
  9. So do you know if it’s just slightly pressed in or threaded in or glued in? My fear is it might be glued in. My new toilet will come with the foam seal ring. But my flange is blown out some and needs to be replaced.
  10. Anyone know if the toilet flange that the toilet bolts to come right out or is it usually glued in or screwed in? Mine doesn’t allow me to bolt my toilet down very tight. It’s blown out some, where the bolts slide in. Wondering if anyone knew what kind of job I was getting into to replace that?
  11. I thought I’d share some pics of my interior. I just got all my cushions back from the upholsterer. I’m really digging it. Curtains will be next.
  12. I converted mine from the Half ton front end to the 1 ton. I have rotors and other parts all were in good working condition. As far as price make me an offer I’m not sure what shipping will cost.
  13. I have them tomorrow let me put my hands on them they are out in my shed I believe. I’m in Reno, NV where are you located
  14. The breaking did improve some, and having just one spare is nice.
  15. I did the conversion. I think I paid 150 for it all including 3 rims. One think you will need that may have been overlooked is the dust covers for the rotors the 5 lug covers you currently have won’t fit. The last photo show the 5 lug dust cover and the 6 lug. Easy job really
  16. I had a loud clunk in my front suspension just a few weeks ago it turned out to be my front sway bar bushings. Easy fix may want to check yours.
  17. I have the two 6v with a 130watt solar setup and a Renogy Rover MPPT charge controller and I’ve never ran out of power. It’s a must have if you ask me
  18. I have the two 6v with a 130watt solar setup and a Renogy Rover MPPT charge controller and I’ve never ran out of power. It’s a must have if you ask me.
  19. I use the 2000k watt predator generator from HF works good and pretty dang quiet. Powers AC and microwave but not at the same time lol. But that’s no biggy.
  20. I’ve been going to Batteries Plus for years now if you were closer I’d let you or anyone use my discount. After the discount it’s usually not much more than the rest and you get 3 year free replacement and it’s usually a Duracell.
  21. oh just to add If i recall correctly we started out using great stuff spray foam which worked good and the metal spay gun made it go on nice, but i don't think the loctite spray foam comes in a can to use with the gun it has its own straw. either will work but loctite did hold stronger and you dont need a gun with that stuff.
