What I ended up with is 3 pieces. A 4" square 3/16" wall tube bumper. The 2" receiver goes through it. The reciever tube is 18" long and goes forward to 2" crossmember welded to the frame channels. The bumper takes the weight and the crossmember takes the torque from the hitch when I hit a bump. A plus of the rx tube through the bumper is there nothing to drag. Maybe a bit of overkill, but after 4 years of trailering and a reciver carrier useage not so much as a squeak.

To the fast foodies folks,,,sorry McDonalds does not serve COFFEE. For a road trip we would have to start in Paris but end up in Rome. After all that's where Espresso come from. On the way home a small detour to Berlin for their local beverage.

There are sever wonderful campers that are the modern equivalent of a Toy, its just that they aren't the equivalent of a Toy budget. BUT its nice to dream and at the very least borrow a few ideas. On my little class A the dinette is right behind the drivers seat. The seat back folds down when you have the drivers seat pushed back to drive. When you park, you push the drivers seat forward and lift up the dinette seat back up. Effectively you have a 6" longer dinette that would be possible than if it was fixed. Some of the smaller class C are similarly full of crafty ideas. -
Wow new knowledge about something that isn't a Toy.

NFG, looks like a head gasket leak. OK deep breath, its broke, you ain't gonna hurt it. Things to do before removing the head to replace the gasket. 1. Retorque the head. 2. Barr's Stop leak Clean off the block and watch. P.S. Cross your fingers, make sure you have a chicken ready for the next full moon....;-0

There is a subtle difference between the 2. The French press seeps the coffee (think tea) then removes the grounds with the press. As Karen said the Aeropress makes espresso. You force hot water through the coffee grounds then through a small filter. Personally I like the espresso flavor better. I do have both and the French Press is semi retired.

When your mpg isn't up to snuff. The first step is a full tune-up to factory specs. Get a base line then start fiddling. A lot time the fiddling will increase things over where you started, but factory would be even better.

Sounds like the chair is held in with what are called carriage bolts. If all else fails use a grinder to remove the head and just push the rest through the floor. I think all carpet installers were paid by the staple and not by the job.

What you most likely have is what the RV folks refer to as a 30 AMP plug. The RV parks have power boxes with 15 amp (house hold plug) 30 amp like you have and some of the more modern parks have a 50 amp plug. Most houses have 15 or 20 amp breakers. So your A/C is pushing a 15 amp hard. http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/rv-power-cords/power-grip-replacement.htm

My Onan 2800 is derated to 2300w due to altitude. I need a hard start cap to run my 13K BTU A?C on hot days with 2300w. I don't know if 2100w and a start cap would do it. $20 is a cheap way to find out.

Till you find the tank about all you can do is to sanitize it and the lines. A cup of bleach and a full tank Drive around and let it slosh around then pump it dry through the faucets and shower. Rinse a couple of tank full's and you should be OK.

technical writing...could Hemingway do it?
WME replied to grandview bill's topic in Miscellaneous & Non-related
When I had to write USAF T.Os the supervisor made us put 5 cents in the party kitty for each word over 3 syllables. It was a learning experance, the first year I supported the shop party, next year was better. -

The most important thing in tech writing is the recipient, not the subject matter. If you can't explain how to do something to somebody the most beautiful written set of instructions are useless. That's why a lot of Army TMs look like comic books.
