cjac Posted December 25, 2016 Share Posted December 25, 2016 Have a window rattle. I'm sure the rubber is shot, I'm not sure how to replace it. I have a short strip at the top and the bottom. I seen a video on YouTube and it showed me that the rubber goes all the way around the window and just pull it out. It looked to be a newer window. linda s Posted December 25, 2016 Share Posted December 25, 2016 The rubber glazing bead on the outside of the window would not cause the slider to rattle. More likely the felt in the rack is shot. I do have hehr windows and called the rv place and they told me I would have to take the window out to get the part number. cjac Posted January 15, 2017 Author Share Posted January 15, 2017 I went to Lowe's and this is what I found. It's self sticking and holds the sliding window nice and tight. Didn't use it for the top and bottom because I'm sure the window wouldn't slide. Just done the the bottom curve to the top curve of the window channel. It was 6 bucks.
