Just wondering about the deep cycle battery? Any recommendations on storage to keep battery charged. Should I plug into direct power once in a while does that charge the deep cycle battery? Maineah Posted January 22, 2016 Share Posted January 22, 2016 Yeah you don't want a dead battery in freezing weather if it's discharged it will freeze. Running you engine should charger the coach battery too but it will take awhile. A cheap battery maintainer will take care of them. There is a way to by pass the isolater and charge both of them.
