Brake Fluiding Change - Bleeding Dually Rear Wheels

Recommended Posts

Not trying to be a smart arse or cruel, but if you can't find the bleeder screws, you might be in over your head.

That said, bleeding out the entire system is generally a good idea. Brake fluid breaks down and starts absorbing water which leads to rust. I would empty the master cylinder reservoir first then after refilling it with DOT3, start bleeding all 5 (yes 5) bleed points.

Risks? Yes you could break a bleeder screw which would require some dis-assembly to repair.

Dan you are just cruel ;-)

Good Point, I will spray some blaster/wd40 this week and attempt it next week.

I am little chunky monkey, and I being under the vehicle as I am custrophobic, hence the question.

As I pointed out never done a dually before, hence the question.

Thanks Kane,
