Two Huntsman Road Tests - Toyo Ver. Dodge

Good article. This road test shows the best fuel mileage of any "full size" Toyota RV I've seen. Two new RVs from the Coon's Huntsman factory. From January, 1980 Trailer Life Magazine. I also stuck in some other ads from the same issue.

Enjoyed reading that article, thanks. I live about 30 miles up the road from all the Missouri lakes, campgrounds, and landmarks mentioned and can attest to the lasting entertainment appeal for RVers.

I've got just about every issue of Trailer Life and Motorhome Magazine printed from 1979 to 1992 (I am missing a few). Also got quite a few back to the 60s. I've been reading them all and scanning anything relevant to micro-mini RVs. Kind of interesting some of the discussions that are the same then as now. Also some I've never heard before. The truck-camper article I just read from 1983 really surprised me. Seems in many states - truck campers were regarded as "trailers" and people were getting tickets for not having separate license plates on the camper - and for having "double trailers" if driving with a truck camper and pulling a camper-trailer at the same time.
